Chapter3~TheWedding

The wedding event, which was held directly at a luxury hotel, seemed to run smoothly. So many invited guests attended the event and all of them admired the appearance of Ellina and Reynand, who looked beautiful and handsome like top artists, when wearing wedding dresses specially designed by famous designers. "Congratulations, Ellina. Best wishes for you. I hope you are happy with him," said Laura while looking sadly at the face of Ellina, her best friend. Yes, as Ellina's close friend, of course Laura knows very well what her friend is feeling right now. She didn't expect that her best friend would get married so quickly. She felt very sad seeing her best friend having to marry a man she didn't love. Even though all this time she really hoped that Ellina could marry Richard, who was none other than her boss. "Thanks, Laura," Ellina replied, forced to smile. Laura, who understood the meaning behind that smile, could only rub the back of Ellina's hand very gently, trying to calm her down. Herbgaze still hadn't shifted. She saw clearly her friend's sad face, then hugged the 24 year old woman's body tightly. It didn't feel like the sobs that had been holding back for a long time finally broke out from Ellina's lips. "I will always be there for you, El. You can tell me whenever you want," whispered Laura in a slightly suppressed voice. Ellina sobbed even more. She could no longer hold back the tears she had been holding back. This fate made her feel a deep wound in her heart. Marriage is not a joke, but why does her marriage to Reynand seem like a game? Even though in reality, they are legally and religiously married. "Whatever problem you are facing now, you will definitely get through it well. Trust me!" said Laura shortly after stretching her body from Ellina. Ellina just nodded slowly, responding to Laura's words, then wiped her tears while forcing a smile. In order to maintain the family's good name, Ellina must take responsibility for Zyana's mistakes. Isn't that very unfair? Such a beautiful youth had to end in a forced marriage. The household that you have always dreamed of building with your loved one will only be a dream. Meanwhile, Reynand, who had been standing next to Ellina, seemed to not care about the melancholic scene between the two women. Ellina glanced at Reynand, a moment after Laura moved from in front of her. She stared closely at the face of the man who was now legally her husband. Seeing that face, herbheart sank even more. She felt so sick because she had to give up her life for a man she didn't love. In fact, she doesn't even love him. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Ellina gasped when Reynand suddenly caught her looking at the man. Reflexively she immediately looked away, looking in any direction. Of course she was nervous and embarrassed. Isn't his attitude very embarrassing? "Didn't you hear me?" "Hah?" Ellina looked up when she found the baritone voice slightly shouting at her. "Do I look strange for you to look at me like that?" Reynand asked a little curtly, because he didn't accept Ellina's attitude of looking at him like that. "Hmm ... You already know that I don't want this marriage at all. I hope you will never demand anything more from me. We are already married and I am already your wife, but I did all of that because I had to!" Ellina explained openly. There was a lot of anxiety on her mind right now. She didn't know what would happen after living under the same roof with Reynand later. Whatever the reason, she was still not ready to endure this forced household. That's why she hopes that Reynand can cooperate and not demand more from her. "I'm your husband, right?" Instead of agreeing, Reynand actually asked a question which succeeded in making Ellina stunned and surprised. I don't know what the meaning behind that question is, Ellina doesn't understand. "Yes," answered Ellina briefly and very doubtfully. Without giving any further response, Reynand just left that place. This suddenly made Ellina even more confused. For a moment she intended to call Reynand, but stopped when she realized that several invited guests were watching her. Ellina also let Reynand approach several invited guests. "He's really annoying. Are all rich businessmen like that? Ah, no. It seems like my boss is very friendly, very different from him," grumbled Ellina while looking at Reynand from a distance. Without her realizing it, there was someone who had been watching her. Yes, Richard. The man seemed to be looking at Ellina with sad eyes. There was a clear look of disappointment on his face. Today had been the most painful day for him because he had to watch the woman he loved marry another man. In fact, he didn't dare to approach Ellina because he was afraid he wouldn't be able to control his emotions which were almost running high. 'I'll be happy if you're happy, El,' he whispered to himself. Three hours later, the wedding reception was over. Reynand had gone to the room first, while Ellina was still confused about what she should do. She felt her legs were very heavy if she had to catch up with Reynand. Ah, the thought of being in a room alone with that man, made her body shiver instantly. This was evident from his sudden gesture of rubbing his neck. "What should I do now?" Ellina muttered, confused. "Ellina, are you still here? Where is Reynand?" The soprano's voice immediately made Ellina divert her attention. She doesn't know since when Elsa, her mother-in-law, was standing behind her. "Ah, Mrs. Elsa. Who did I think," said Ellina a little awkwardly while forcing a smile. "Reynand has gone to his room," she added. "Call me Mommy. Am I not your mother now?" Elsa said very gently while smiling kindly. "Sorry, Mom." Ellina nodded slowly. "Okay. You'd better follow Reynand now. Don't you need rest too? I'm pretty sure you're very tired today," Elsa suggested. Without thinking, Elsa immediately went after Reynand. There was no other way to avoid that man. Of course she didn't want to give a negative impression to her family, right on her first day as Reynand's wife. Right in front of the tightly closed hotel room door, Ellina stopped in her tracks. the white-skinned woman stood for a while. She was still hesitating whether to enter or not. However, if you don't enter the room, of course people who see it will be suspicious. On the other hand, she also didn't want to meet Reynand. Ah, really everything has gone awry. "Should I come into this room?" she asked, starting to monologue while pacing incoherently. One hand was folded in front of her chest and the other hand was holding her forehead, showing a confused expression. Feelings of nervousness and fear seemed to be mixed together. Who knows how long she will have to face a slightly tense situation like that. For her, meeting Reynand was like meeting a scary monster. After a few minutes, she decided to stop what she was doing, then faced the bedroom door. One hand suddenly raised, intending to knock on the door. However, before she had time to do so, the door suddenly opened. "Oh, my God!"
