The doctor confirms without hesitation. "Yes, Miss Bosi is pregnant." Camila gasps, raising her hand to her chest as she turns to face her husband. His expression mirrors her shock: eyes wide, mouth slightly open, and her voice barely above a whisper as she returns her gaze back to the doctor.
"Are you sure?" she asks again, to which the doctor confirms. "I ran blood tests, and her hCG levels were elevated, indicating pregnancy. We also tested her progesterone levels to ensure that the pregnancy was progressing. It is early, but based on the results, there is no doubt she is expecting."
