MARK’S POV Pain. That was the first thing I felt when I woke up. A dull, throbbing ache in my shoulder that made it hard to breathe. I shifted, but the movement sent a sharp sting through my body, and I groaned. Alice was sitting a few feet away, her legs crossed, watching me.
