She was grateful the ban on magic postponed her lessons with Rithian until a later time when they were not in the palace, but she still had to release Tika's latent magic into the earth before she broke the rules because she couldn't control it.
And besides, it gave her ample reason to explore the massive palace, for her to forget about Nisha's horrible threats and soak in the art that had been poured into the ancient architecture. Of course, it still meant three guards would follow her everywhere with their hands glued to their guns, but Misa was in no position to complain.
