"The Duchess prohibited every worker in the palace from entering this place", one of the guards said as they climbed down the stairs.
"That ban has been lifted by me, your new Ruler," Ley said.
They walked down and as they approached the place the priest's corpse was. Ley knew that she hadn't done that. She was a bit pleased with the priest. She was a bit glad about the priest's death.
She was planning on killing him anyway for taking the life of Mary unjustly.
She suspected the murderer was no other person than Mathew. She looked at him keenly. He looked at her and laughed.
Knowing the reason she gave him that look, he smiled.
"Yes, I killed him" he grinned.
"He was so useless to me and also a big threat", he said further.
