Selene's POV
Kade leaned in closer, his lips hovering just above mine. “You’re mine, Selene,” he murmured. “No curse can change that.”
Before I could respond, the door swung open, and Elias stepped inside, his sharp blue eyes glinting with amusement. “Tempting fate, brother?” he asked, a smirk playing on his lips.
Kade straightened, his jaw tightening as he shot Elias a glare. “What are you doing here?”
Elias shrugged, his gaze flickering to me. “Same as you, apparently. The bond doesn’t care about the Elders’ warnings.”
I felt my cheeks flush as Elias’s eyes roamed over me, his expression unreadable but intense. The room felt smaller with both of them there, their presence overwhelming.
Elias stepped closer to Kade, his voice low and dangerous. “This isn’t a game, Kade. If Ronan finds out—”
“If Ronan finds out what?”
The deep, commanding voice cut through the room like a knife, and we all froze. Ronan stood in the doorway, his piercing blue eyes blazing with barely contained rage. His golden-blonde hair seemed almost silver in the moonlight, and his broad shoulders filled the frame of the door.
Kade and Elias exchanged a glance, their expressions tense. Ronan stepped inside, his gaze sweeping over the three of us. The air grew heavy with tension, and I could feel the weight of his anger pressing down on me.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Ronan demanded, his voice cold and sharp.
Kade straightened, his jaw clenched. “We’re not going to pretend the bond doesn’t exist, Ronan. I can't resist her scent. I feel drawn towards her. You can’t expect us to just—”
“Enough,” Ronan snapped, cutting him off. He turned to me, his eyes filled with a mix of frustration and something deeper—something that looked like longing. “You know the risks, Selene. If we give in to the bond, it could destroy us all.”
His words were like a dagger to my heart, and I felt tears prick at the corners of my eyes. “I didn’t ask for this,” I whispered. “I didn’t ask for any of it.”
Ronan’s expression softened for a moment, but then he hardened again, his Alpha instincts taking over. “Kade, Elias, get out. Now.”
The two brothers hesitated, their eyes flickering to me before they reluctantly obeyed. As they left, the room felt emptier, the tension still thick in the air.
Ronan stepped closer, his gaze locked on mine. “I understand you can't resist the bond but we can’t keep doing this, Selene,” he said, his voice low and strained. “We need to find a way to solve the curse playing with fire.”
“And what if I don’t care?” I shot back, my voice trembling with emotion. “What if I’m tired of being alone, of being treated like a curse?”
Ronan’s jaw tightened, and for a moment, I thought he might reach for me. But then he stepped back, his expression unreadable. “You don’t understand the consequences,” he said quietly. “If we lose control, it won’t just be us who suffer. It will be the entire pack.”
His words hit me like a punch to the gut, and I felt the weight of his responsibility pressing down on me. But the bond was still there, pulsing beneath my skin, demanding to be acknowledged.
As Ronan turned to leave, I felt a surge of desperation. “Ronan, wait,” I called out, my voice breaking.
He paused, his back to me, but he didn’t turn around. “Get some rest, Selene,” he said, his voice firm but not unkind. “We’ll figure this out tomorrow.”
The door closed behind him, leaving me alone once again. I sank onto the bed, my body trembling with a mix of frustration and longing. The bond was a cruel, unrelenting force, and I didn’t know how much longer I could resist it.
As I lay there, staring at the ceiling, I couldn’t shake the image of Ronan’s conflicted expression—the Alpha torn between his duty and his desire. And somewhere, deep within me, the fire of the Cursed Moon burned brighter than ever, a reminder of the destiny I couldn’t escape.
The night stretched on, silent and heavy.

Next morning
I woke up drenched in sweat, my body aching due to kade’s perfect fingering and sucking skills. The memories of yesterday’s night with Kade lingered, a cruel reminder of the bond’s unrelenting pull. My wolf was restless, pacing inside my mind, craving the touch of the triplets. Their scents still lingered in the air—Ronan’s strawberry scent, Kade’s fiery warmth, Elias’s cool, sharp aroma—making it impossible to ignore the ache deep within me.
Why is this happening to me? Ronan already pleaded I stay away. But can I resist?
I couldn't control myself. As I craved kade's expert hands and tongue, my body reacted out of control.
Every nerve in my body felt hypersensitive, my skin tingling as if something vital was missing. I clenched my fists, trying to steady my breathing, but the bond was relentless, a constant hum beneath my skin that refused to be silenced.
