Jade slept for some hours and woke up when it was just a few minutes to seven. She got off her bed and dragged herself outside, finding her way to the kitchen where she met Jace preparing dinner.
"Hi," Jace turned around to look at her. "Did I wake you up?"
"No, not at all. I think I have slept for too long already. What are you making?"
"Spicy spaghetti and meatballs. You will love this combo." He said proudly.
"What makes it different?" She teased him.
"Me. I make it different. My presence makes it different from others. Just wait till I am done. You will enjoy it. It's one of the recipes I had to learn during my early cooking days if that makes sense." He boasted.
"Just go and sit. I will join you soon with a plate. I am almost done." He urged her and she walked away from the kitc
