Chapter Sixty Six
I had almost expected to hear from Aurora. I really shouldn't have spoken to her at the wedding. The end was in sight and I should have kept my cool and my mouth shut. I just couldn't help it. Even having an excuse to touch her was enough to send my heart racing. Less than a week. That was all it would take and I would be back on Italian soil, being able to tell her everything at long last. I couldn't wait to sweep her off her feet and make sure she was mine for good.
