Kate generally worked the morning shifts; I rarely saw her and hadn't virtually talked with her much. She was an averagely fairly girl. Long, light brown hair pulled lower back into a perfect ponytail. Eyes so light brown they had been almost ocher, with the longest, fullest lashes I had ever seen. She was once tall and a little too thin, but extraordinarily graceful, like she had belonged to a ballet troupe before becoming a member of the staff right here at Pete's.
"Hi, Askel!" Jenny stated as she gave me a swift hug. "Kate's switching to nights, due to the fact we were slammed ultimate Friday. The guys are simply pulling the humans in, now that school's going again."
