Alex I didn't know why I stopped, on a normal day it wouldn't be any of my business, but I did, seeing her on the floor struggling with those men, it was obvious they wanted to take advantage of her. "Stop the car," I told my bodyguards, they did and I got down, they got down with me, I moved closer to where the lady was on the floor. "Leave her alone," I said without thinking, what they were trying to do was wrong and had to stop but instead of letting her go, one of the thugs told me to mind my business, which only fueled my anger, how dare he, does he even know I am. "Get them," I told my boys, without hesitation they purged towards them, the lady backed away and stood up, I moved closer to her. "Are you okay," I asked her but she didn't respond, he looked lost, she looked unkept and I could see that she was shaken but admist all this, her face, her face got to me, she looked so fragile and beautiful, she didn't need makeup for one to see it, her lip were red and juicy and her small eyes, her eyes were light blue easy to drive a man insane, her hair scattered, God, I was having dirty thought already, I got myself together and asked her again if she was okay, as if I had awaken her she finally came back to life and answered that she was fine. "Where are you going to from here", I asked her Her expression changed, she started crying saying she had nowhere to go, that she just got kicked out. I saw her trembling and patted her bag, today must have been really hectic for her, getting kicked out and almost taken advantage of, poor girl. I wanted to take her home with me but I knew I shouldn't, she was already scared enough and besides I was just a stranger, didn't want to frighten her more. She told me about how she was headed home going to pack and all. "I'll drop you off, tomorrow I'll send my driver to pick you first thing tomorrow morning," I told her meaning it, she nodded and turned to see what was going on. I directed her to my car where I had parked and opened the door for her to get in, I got in too. I introduced myself and she told me hers, Precious, a very nice name actually. I droved her home and told her to get some rest that we'll see tomorrow, I waited till she got inside before signalling my driver to move. On my way home, I couldn't stop thinking about her, how she was shaken, the fear on her face, her voice trembling as she spoked. I didn't even know her and yet I was so drawn to her. I leaned back and stared outside, the city was empty and silent. I'll see her again tomorrow, I thought ... Morning came sooner than I expected, the sun kissed my face making it hard for m to open my eyes , I fell asleep thinking of Precious, I really haven't planned anything yet, wether to give her a job at the office or hear or give her a contract to marry and all, my dad has been on about me getting married and settling down unless I won't be getting the properties, I really didn't know what to do concerning Precious, and then I remembered she had to pack, she must be waiting for me. I picked up the land line and called Fred my most trusted bodyguard. "Fred, go get the girl from last night alongside her things, bring her home I won't be going to the office until late in the afternoon," I said over the phone in a controlled and authoritative voice. I didn't wait for a respond and hanged up. I stood up form from the bed and headed to the bathroom, I had to get ready before she arrived. I was already at the dinning eating when I heard the gate opening, she was here already, I continued eating not bothering to get up and told the cook to add an extra plate to the table and told the butler to bring her to the dinning when she gets in. They all complied. I heared the front door opening and soon she was at the dinning standing. She looked neater, her hair packed in a bun, she had a long blue flair gown which hid her curves but not her beauty, she was indeed beautiful, her luggages were beside her. "Albert, get her stuff to the guest room," I told the butler. "Join me I said." stretching my hand for to sit. "How are you today," I said hoping she was better and trying to start a conversation with her. She hesitated before answering "I'm good, thanks," she said, I noticed she wanted to say something else, so I held back from asking her anything. "I thought you wouldn't come for me, I was so scared, I sat down outside waiting for you I had already gotten all my stuffs," she said slowly and calmly, her voice was shaking, "thank you so much for coming for me, I really appreciate," she said looking at me sincerely and thankfully. I was man of my words, true to it. When I made promises I fulfill them. I don't just say words. A true business man always keeps to his words "I always keep to my promise." I said. "I told you I would come for you and I did. In the latter future do not doubt my words."
