“Marian screwed me….. she stated that I’m a doctor and that I can’t give much time to my daughter, so she demands the court give her full custody of Marlene because I’m not a good father to her,” he uttered without pausing in between his words.
I recollected my thoughts with all the information he stated before responding, “So…, what are you planning to do now?” I asked, genuinely concerned about his next steps in this difficult situation.
“I don’t know,” he added, sighing loudly, with his hands pressed on his temples. He looked visibly distressed, his eyes filled with worry and uncertainty. "I never imagined it would come to this," he continued, his voice trembling slightly.
