Chapter 78

"Now too show up." said Khayun right before the undead nurse stabs him through the chest with her demonic hands to which he shudders just as the undead nurse tears open her mouth and bursts out a wave of insects which flow throughout Khayun who still manages to keep his energy charged up, despite having been attacked by the demonic nurse.

Enraged by the attacks given to Khayun, he unleashes out the energy, causing a massive flame to infuriate through the room which starts spreading everywhere, including on the nurse's body as well as she screams.

"Now you open your mouth huh? shsh...." said Khayun while signaling the silence hand gesture as he gets up, soon he enflames his hand with a form of green fire aura and draws it out further while the nurse attempts to engage onto him by spreading out waves of insects which Khayun blasts it on, instantly burning them as she lunges back and starts running while being chased by the insects.

Soon, he draws in as maximum number of flame as he can, until his entire hand is drawn with green flame burning through his skin, to which he lunges onto the wall and jumps back into the undead nurse while plunging in the flame right through his mouth.

"Take that you sick ugly rat!" yelled Khayun as he blasts the very flame as the undead nurse screams in agony while her very existence becomes burnt completely with green flame.

As Khayun drops down onto the floor, he catches a breath and relaxes while the paranormal instances happening around the floor slowly begins to diminish one by one until nothing but the sound of silence remains within the floor as Khayun slowly starts to feel uneasy to which he closes his eyes, but then wakes up in one of the patient's bed within one room.

What in the?" asked Khayun while looking around his surroundings as well as hearing the mumming outside to which he rushes, then soon realises the very people that were kept inside the patient room were actually the staff, whom were all controlled by the undead nurse lingered within these walls.

"Wait a minute.. oh s**t, Afreen." said Khayun as he starts walking through the crowd in a attempt to find the patient room of where Afreen was actually supposed to be, only that it's left with ashes to which he takes a close look.

"It was a illusion? it was a.. oh shit.. she casted and.. that makes a lot of sense." said Khayun whom realizes the weirdness of Afreen's behaviour and her diminished state.

"Wait, Ali? Ali!" yelled Khayun as he gets up and rushes out through the crowd onto the entrance. As he reaches the entrance, he soon finds Ali, but drowned through sadness as he's leaning onto his legs, crying over the endless t*****e of being stuck in the same place, almost like a time loop, as well as the guiltiness of Afreen's demise done by his own hands.

"It's my fault.. it's always my fault, I should have, I never should have.." cried Ali as Khayun approaches him. "Hey, you alright pal?" asked Khayun. "Tim, you're.. no.. this isn't real, this is.. this is a trick." said Ali. "No, no, I am real, this is really me, Ali, we did it, we took it down." said Khayun.

"Took what down?" asked Ali.

"It's a long story." said Khayun.

"Tim, there is something you must know, it's about Afreen, she's.." said Ali before getting interrupted by Khayun. "I know, I just passed her room on the way, it wasn't her." said Khayun. "What?" asked Ali. "Yeah, it was a.. it was an illusion, nothing more, the real Afreen is gone on a short journey, but she'll be back." said Khayun.

"What? I don't understand.. how.." said Ali when suddenly Khayun's phone rings again, this time he looks upon the phone to see Athina's name. "s**t, I'm late (turns towards Ali) listen to me Ali, I wish I could explain what happened here, why I said this isn't Afreen, but I can't, I've got a important work to take care of, and it's compulsory that I leave right now." said Khayun.

"But, where, I mean.." said Ali before getting interrupted by Khayun. "I promise to answer all your questions, do not worry, but right now I need to leave, but.. I can't just leave you in here as well." said Khayun. "I tried to leave, but.. I keep ending up in here." cried Ali.

"This time, it won't, I'll be with you, alright? come on." said Khayun as he leads Ali towards the door with Ali having been freight of ending inside again, but as they step outside, things seem normal as they once again step out of the psych ward where the security guard immediately rushes out to them as he sees them.

"Hey! you! what did you do?" asked the security guard. "Ask that again, and I'll have your teeth gone the next time." said Khayun. "Oh, I mean, sorry sir, did you.. did everyone?" asked the security guard.

"Safe and sound, nothing happened in there, and you're welcome for getting rid of the trash, now scram off and pretend we were never here." said Khayun as he leads away with Ali all the way towards the parking space where he leans down towards Ali again.

"I wish I could drop you off safely but.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Ali. "It's fine, I'll pick a Uber or something, don't worry." said Ali. "You sure? I mean, I could give you a.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Ali. "It's fine, Tim, you've done a lot, thank you for everything, but if it's a hurry, then you should go, I'll take it from here, thanks." said Ali.

"Alright, stay safe lad, don't worry, all your questions will be answered soon." said Khayun as he goes off to deport, but seeing the level of distance, as well as the sun being bright enough to be not able to use his dark cloud form, he returns back to Ali quickly.

"On second thought come with me." said Khayun. "No, it's fine, I can.." said Ali. "Just come on, I have a small task for you." Khayun leading Ali back to his car as they drive away.

Meanwhile, within Ayntac Educational Centre entrance, as Athina keeps calling him, but left with no replies, except for the text he would be arriving soon.

"Out of all idiots, I'm literally stuck with the one who isn't answering." said Athina who keeps ringing just as Mor, the boyfriend of Athina arrives within his bike to check on her who seem rather unnoticed by his arrival.

"Hey." said Mor.

"Not now Mor, I'm busy." said Athina who keeps calling, then sends out text messages. "Huh? I see.. who you are calling to anyway?" asked Mor. "A friend, why?" asked Athina. "Nothing, just asked.. listen, since there's a event going on in your institute, I'm thinking maybe we could take a break, I mean like a date or something.. maybe some.." said Mor when suddenly Athina picks on the call immediately to which Mor silences himself.

"Hey! where the hell are you? the event's about to end?" asked Athina. "Relax alright? jeez, you gave me like.. 20 calls? are you insane?" asked Khayun through the other side of the call while driving. "I'm not insane, you are.. look, this is our last chance to know something about what we're dealing with here, and here you are, ghosting about on your own." said Athina.

"Hey, I didn't ghost, I was fighting one, it was a long story, wait, what did you mean about knowing something?" asked Khayun. "I don't know, all she keeps asking about is you, constantly, which made me stand all the way upto the entrance now." said Athina.

"Relax, if she keeps bothering you that much, why not just give her the phone, or at least my phone number?" asked Khayun. "You think I haven't tried, all she said was a no, and kept insisting on me to bring you here, look, just get here alright? quick." said Athina.

"Alright, I'm coming there as fast as I can, just hang tight." said Khayun just as she hangs up the call. "Jeez, boys these days." said Athina. "What?" asked Mor. "Nothing, just.. (keeps her phone inside) what did you wanna talk about again?" asked Athina to which Mor stares at her numbly for a while, then prepares himself as he begins to depart.

"Hey! I'm asking you, are you leaving?" asked Athina to which Mor doesn't reply and keeps racing away as he leaves. "Mor, I'm sorry, I'm sorry okay? please, just.. come back, Mor?" yelled Athina only finding it too late as Mor had already departed.

"Great, you know what? fine, who cares?" asked Athina as she then departs away back into the institute.

Meanwhile, the real Afreen, on the other hand, is heading back towards her town within the safari along with the crew as well, as she is seen reaching sooner towards her house with her new found friends who offered to give in a ride.

"This is nice, look at the trees." said Jenina.

"Yeah, don't go hanging around one, then the entire town will start calling you what we called." said Elias. "Hey!" said Daniela while knocking him by her feet as everyone chuckles. "Since, we're here, I wanted to say, what a amazing experience it has been for me, being with you guys." said Afreen.

"Same goes for us, Tim or Afreen, you're still family to us, in fact, she should join with us, don't you think?" asked Max. "Thanks Max, but I don't think it would be relevant." said Afreen. "So.. this is your last trip huh?" asked Daniela.

"I guess so, which is why.. it's hard, to finally fit in, and then.." said Afreen before getting interrupted by Dr Prameel.

"I'll tell you what, Afreen, why don't you join us, not as Tim, but as yourself, as my intern? I'm sure we can find a proper place for you." said Dr Prameel.
