As Afreen waits in the couch, Dr. Shaw goes upstairs and heads to the kitchen where his wife, Maggy is making breakfast. "So, who was it?" asked Maggy. "Apparently, the guest wasn't for us." said Dr. Shaw.
"For Tim? about time he has a friend yet, is he rusty looking type, or nerdy?" asked Maggy. "You mean she." said Dr. Shaw to which Maggy gets shocked. Seeing this, Dr. Shaw smiles to her reaction. "You got be kidding me? he has girl friend?" asked Maggy silently.
"I know right? it feels like yesterday I dropped him off for his school, next thing you know, he brought a date." said Dr. Shaw. "Are you sure about this? it could be just an acquaintance." said Maggy. "She skipped school for him." said Dr. Shaw. "Huh? what a coincidence, didn't you skip school when I got sick?" asked Maggy.
"And it worked like a charm." said Dr. Shaw. "You just got lucky, so how is she?" asked Maggy. "Well.. from the looks of it, pretty high level for someone like Tim, we'll see how lucky he is." said Dr. Shaw. "He is, you're nephew right? runs in your blood." said Maggy.
"Yeah, but he never called me uncle, not even once, I just wish Max would've been here, this would have blown his mind." said Dr. Shaw. "Yeah, bet he would have teased him till Tim cried." said Maggy. "Yeah." said Dr. Shaw.
Meanwhile, Tim comes out of his shower and just as he gets dressed up, he decides to check whether the incantation Khayun gave really worked. "Hello, Jinn buddy? you there?" asked Tim to which no response comes.
"Huh? guess it worked after all." said Tim as he gets downstairs Afreen sitting by the couch. "Afreen? you're here?" asked Tim to which Afreen looks. "Hey, i just arrived now, with my laptop." said Afreen showing her laptop.
"Yeah, I can see, but didn't you go school today? I thought I told you to come by after school." said Tim. "Oh, yeah, I was gonna go, then I gotta little sick and.." said Tim before getting interrupted by Afreen. "Well, my uncle is a.." said Tim before getting interrupted by Afreen. "A doctor, I know, he already did a check and said it wasn't bad." replied Afreen.
"Oh, okay, give me a few minutes, I'll be back, make yourself at home." said Tim to which Afreen smiles and nods as Tim heads for the kitchen. As he heads inside, Maggy looks upon him with a smile which he returns. "Look who's awake, I mean showered." said Maggy. "Yeah, hey Aunt Maggy, milk is in the fridge right?" asked Tim. "Yep." replied Maggy.
Tim directly heads for the fridge and takes out milk and starts making coffee like it's any other day while Dr. Shaw and Maggy signal upon each other to ask him something. "What's going on?" asked Tim while he makes coffee. "Nothing, what.. what do you mean?" asked Dr. Shaw. "One, you've both never been quiet, either you argue about something, or talk about something, quiet seems a little creepy." said Tim.
"Have we been quiet?" asked Dr. Shaw. "No, I don't think so?" asked Maggy. "See, Maggy says no what about you Tim? have you been quiet lately?" asked Dr. Shaw. "I'm nothing but quiet, you know this, okay, what's going? what's with all the creepy terrible signals, which I noticed, don't say no." said Tim. "Tim, Tim, Tim, you've grown so fast, I'm really proud of you." said Maggy.
"Uhmm thanks? but.. I don't get it?" asked Tim to which Dr. Shaw points out to the guest in the living room. "No." said Tim. "I didn't even say anything." said Dr. Shaw. "I know you didn't, but I know what you will eventually say, and it is a no, we're not... whatever you guys think we are." said Tim.
"Well if you aren't, she is, think about it, she skipped school for you." said Maggy. "I told her to come by after school, didn't expect her by now, but still, it's not what you think Aunt Mag, she has a problem with her laptop." said Tim.
"Which she could have just given me to give it to you." said Dr. Shaw. "Maybe password installation? people are very much worried about internet privacy these days." said Tim. "Tim, honey, we're not angry with you, we're proud, okay? there's nothing to be ashamed about." said Maggy. "I didn't say I was ashamed." said Tim.
"He didn't?" asked Maggy with Dr. Shaw. "Nope, he didn't, but he will." said Dr Shaw. "Guys, come on.. you can't be serious about it." said Tim. "If it isn't serious, then there's nothing to be worried about." said Maggy as she hands over a plate of cookies and Coffee to Tim.
"Wow, you never gave these cookies for me before? where did you buy them?" asked Tim. "It isn't for you, go and give it to her, right now, that's a order." said Maggy. "Nope, definitely not, maybe Dr. Shaw can." said Tim. "Why would I?" asked Dr. Shaw. "Cuz, she's feeling sick and you're a doctor?" asked Tim. "No, I don't think she is, even if, why would I give her cookies?" asked Dr. Shaw.
"Tim, please, give her these, that's all we ask, please don't say no." said Maggy to which Tim sighs and receives the plate and the cup of coffee. "Fine, but.. I'm going to eat most of this." said Tim. "You probably will." said Dr. Shaw as Tim begins to leave with the plate. "Tim?" asked Maggy to which he turns. "What?" asked Tim. "Be nice." said Maggy. I am nice." said Tim mimicking Maggy's smile then leaves from the kitchen as he heads to the living room.
Afreen, who had already turned on her laptop suddenly notices Tim arriving with the plate and a cup of coffee. "Oh my, you shouldn't have." said Afreen. "Yeah, it's my Aunt, she usually over does things, little help?" asked Tim as he gives over the cup and the plate which she keeps it at the table.
"Go on, laptop is connected right? I can get right to it." said Tim as he sits beside the laptop and starts working.
Meanwhile, Detective Sharon arrives at the hospital and rushes into the entrance as a security guard approaches in front of her. "Hey, ma'am, you can't park in here." said the security guard as she shows her badge.
"I'm detective Sharon, now get the hell out of my way!" yells Sharon as she hands over her keys to him and runs inside the building and directly onto the receptionist where a large number of people are present talking over to the receptionist whom she pushes. "Harrington, where is he?" asked Detective Sharon.
"Second floor ma'am, Ward 06." said the receptionist to which she rushes to the stairs and heads to the second floor and sees where a few of Harrington's friends and Detective Murphy present. Where is he? where is he?" screams Sharon as she approaches them. "Sharon, calm down, okay, it's not.." said Detective Murphy before getting silenced when Sharon screams at him again.
"He's inside, they're attending for his treatment, just, sit down, okay, have a cup of coffee." said Detective Murphy as he makes her sit down and offers her coffee which she throws it away and cries. "How? how did this happen?" asked Detective Sharon.
"There was a break-in, we're trying our best to find him, you know this, as soon as we find him." said Detective Murphy. "No! I'll find him, I'll find the bastard who did this to him!" yells Sharon. "I'm sorry, you can't." said Detective Murphy.
"What?" asked Sharon. "You're currently on a case, remember? I will get to the bottom of this, trust me." said Detective Murphy. "It's.. it's all my fault.. I never should have sent him home alone." cried Sharon. "Hey, hey, hey, listen to me, it isn't, alright? it isn't your fault." said Detective Murphy just when a nurse approaches them.
"Uhmm are you with Harrington Parker?" asked the nurse to which Detective Sharon bursts out of the chair and approaches her. "Yes, I'm his daughter, how is he?" asked Sharon. "There are multiple stab wounds around his artery, we're trying our best but.." said the nurse to which Detective Sharon turns away as he moans. "It's best if you didn't share details much." said Detective Murphy.
"Sorry, and uhmm, he lost a lot of blood, does anyone here share his blood group?" asked the nurse. "Yes, yes, I do, take mine." said Detective Sharon. "Okay, come with me." said Nurse as she accompanies Detective Sharon with her inside.
Meanwhile, back at Dr. Shaw's house, Tim searches thoroughly through her laptop, looking for a single trace of hacking, but despite his searching, he's unable to find any at all, while he continues searching Afreen, who had drank her coffee, almost reaches for a coffee but backs away when Tim starts talking.
"Afreen, I searched through your laptop, social media accounts, quora even.. there's not a single trace of hacking, are you sure you were hacked?" asked Tim. "Yeah.. no, I mean, the hacking, I.. uhmm, okay, the account was hacked prior, but then the account just reset, so it must have deleted all traces?" said Afreen.
"Your laptop did a reset by it self?" asked Tim. "Yeah?" replied Afreen doubtingly. "Huh, interesting." said Tim as he continues his work to which Afreen relives. "So, you live here?" asked Afreen. "Temporary, I got kicked out of the house." said Tim.
"Oh my, when?" asked Afreen. "Yesterday." said Tim. "That.. must have been hard, did you try.." said Afreen before getting interrupted by Tim. "Mom's not answering my calls, neither my texts, it's complicated." said Tim.
"Not really." said Khayun. "Shit.. you again?" asked Tim louder to which Afreen hears as well. "What?" asked Afreen.
"Keep it quiet boy, you'll make my presence known." said Khayun in his mind
