Several hours had passed since Tim had gone missing from Dr. Shaw's house, as well as any other places he could be, With his phone switched off and he himself is nowhere to be found.
Dr. Shaw had cancelled his party and continues his search along with the others in search of Tim on where he went, posters of Tim gone missing had been sprung up all over the town, including on the Park's board where missing posters of Matthew, Brian and Josh are beside.
As the school bell rings and Afreen steps out of it with Irene, from at a distance from her, Selina too, tries to catch up on to her to ask what was going on, given she just heard a school board announcement on Tim's disappearance. "It's only been several hours since he went missing, why put posters right now?" asked Irene.
"This isn't the first time someone went missing Irene, many have gone missing, and given how Tim's history with being kidn*pped, Dr. Shaw called in some extra favours to increase the search." said Afreen.
"Wish I had a uncle like that." said Irene as Selina approaches once again.
"Hey guys, Afreen, do you have a minute?" asked Selina. "No, she doesn't, come on." said Irene as she leads Afreen away from her. "Hey! it's a emergency, I swear." said Selina.
"Let's just hear what she has to say." said Afreen to which Irene nods and both of them turn back to Selina. "Listen, I'm sorry, okay, both of you, I know we're not on the best of terms but.. this isn't the right time to dwell on that, don't you think?" asked Selina.
"Just spit it out, what do you need?" asked Irene.
"I know you guys are going to look for Tim, and I wanna help." said Selina. "Seriously? how exactly are you going to help?" asked Irene. "With him." said Selina pointing out to Ivan who is approaching. "Tim's missing? when?" asked Ivan.
"You've got be kidding me." said Afreen. "It's not like that, he's changed, Tim offered to help him." said Selina. "Since when?" asked Irene. "Since yesterday, me and Selina went by Tim's house yesterday." said Ivan.
"What?" asked Afreen and Irene in shock.
Meanwhile, Sharon, now convicted of Murder over the death of the waitress, is sent to Waverly Hills Asylum, a place for special treatment under the care of Dr Sayeed Hussain, a renowned Psychiatrist.
As she is taken away to her proceeded cell where they were insisted to keep her, she catches glimpses of a demonic figure lurking through reflective surfaces, trying to catch her attention which she ignores, confirming that it is Sneaky who is still bent on haunting her till death.
As she is thrown in the cell and locked away, she sits down in the thick cement block with a pillow and a mat given as bed.
She looks around to see a unclean toilet beside her bed and the entire asylum seems a bit dull despite having so many patients under many cells. She crawls over to the corner and cries out of despair of what everything led to be.
"Hello, might I know your name?" asked another patient from the cell beside her to which she doesn't respond and still keeps weeping. "I can understand it's difficult, to be lingered in such a dark fate, but do not worry, the light will shine on us soon." said the patient beside.
"Who are you?" asked Sharon.
"Maher." said the patient. "Good to meet you Maher.. my name is Sharon." cried Sharon. "Yes, I've heard, you are a police, are you not? a detective they say?" asked Maher. "Who do you mean they?" asked Sharon.
"The caretakers, they don't usually respond to us, but they talk within themselves, tell us news of what is happening outside sometimes." said Maher. "How long have you been here Maher?" asked Sharon.
"Frankly, I have no idea, Allah guides me through my darkest times." said Maher. "How did you end up here?" asked Sharon.
"Well.. it's been.. ah, yes I remember, a ship, we were brought, then they started shooting at us, I got scared I ran, I ran so fast I've never looked back, then.. I saw a light, yes, a shining light, it brought me here." said Maher.
"Right..." said Sharon.
"What about you, madam? how did a cop, end up here, of all places?" asked Maher. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." said Sharon. "Try me." said Maher.
Meanwhile, back in Brampton where Mark has just recovered from hospital and is going back to his home, photos and posters of Tim seem to be everywhere which starts to confuse him, as he finds it familiar, but given how Khayun erased all his memories of everything related to Khayun and Tim, he ignores and moves ahead.
As he reaches home, and sits by the couch after taking a shower, he opens up his television where they show news relating to the murder of waitress by Detective Sharon and she was charged with murder, all while the phone which contains the evidence of Khayun is resting right beside it.
Soon, after reaching onto a agreement, Afreen, Irene, Selina and Ivan head back to Dr. Shaw's house in hopes of uncovering any evidence to go after him.
As they ring down the door, Maggy opens the door of having forced to stay inside given she's pregnant, is shocked to see all of them had arrived now. "You're here, all of you." said Maggy. "Hello Mrs Shaw, I was wondering if it's possible to take a look at Tim's Room again." said Afreen.
"The police already looked honey, there wasn't any evidence regarding his disappearance." said Maggy. "But we just want to take one last look, if it's fine." said Ivan to which Maggy starts to think, then decides to let them in, leading them back to Tim's Room where they start searching.
Meanwhile, back at the asylum, Maher is shocked upon hearing the entire story of what happened to her as Sharon explains down everything from top to bottom and how this figure was responsible for everything that actually happened.
"Woah, I can't believe it." said Maher. "Told you wouldn't, after all, you're just insane, not a mastermind." said Sharon. "No, I didn't mean that, I do believe about the jinn that haunted you, what I don't believe is how you went through it alive, despite enduring such tragedy." said Maher.
"Jinn?" asked Sharon. "Yes, spiritual creatures that linger on the world parallel to ours, people think that ghosts are the ones who come back after life, or some are demons sent directly from hell, but according to us, Jinns, disguise themselves as human, dead or alive, and try to live their lives amongst us, but due to their lack of intelligence about life and death, it leads to somewhat people called, the haunting." said Maher.
"I was haunted by a cartoon character, how do you know that's a Jinn?" asked Sharon. "It disguised itself by being a cartoon, and haunting on the people who don't watch it by coming out of its structure." said Maher.
"And you're fixated it is a Jinn, it can't be anything else?" asked Sharon. "What else it could be?" asked Maher when suddenly a huge alarm sounds and the cages start opening. "What's going on?" asked Sharon.
"Therapy time, come on." said Maher as he comes out of his cage as do Sharon who looks at the patients blindly walking in a row towards the Doctor's room.
"This is.." said Sharon before getting interrupted by Maher. "Follow me if you wish to live, I can show you a way to fight your demon." said Maher as he walks away towards the opposite direction to which Sharon seemed a bit hesitant, but then decides to follow him.
Meanwhile, Afreen as well as everyone else are trying their best to search everywhere they can, but just like Maggy said, there isn't a single evidence to be found, except for his laptop, which seems to have been unlocked by the police, but going through it, they found nothing useful.
"This can't be it, I've looked everywhere." said Irene. "Dude's a hacker right? maybe his computer might have stuffs." said Ivan as he goes to approach the computer. "I've already checked, it seemed like everything's deleted or something, there is nothing there." said Selina. "On the outside." said Ivan as he signs off the user to find only one available.
"You think it's that simple, that the police would have forgotten to see whether multiple users are available?" asked Selina. "There is a root user okay? I've did my study of computers as well, the admin one, this isn't it, there must be a hidden way to access it, he can't just have it lying around." said Ivan.
"Even if there was, how would you access it?" asked Selina. "I've got a idea, Afreen, your laptop, where is it?" asked Ivan. "It's with the police, they took it since this had nothing." said Afreen. "Okay, that means we have to find another way, do any of you guys ever like.. know how he logs on his user." said Ivan. "You're pretty positive about this user thing, aren't you?" asked Irene.
"Not really, I've seen him use devices, on well.. our devices, not his own." said Selina. "Maybe not us." said Afreen as she rushes downstairs to Maggy. "Hey, you're back, did you find anything?" asked Maggy as she notices Afreen coming.
"Not really, but.. have you ever seen how Tim logs on his laptop?" asked Afreen. "He presses the power button I suppose?" replied Maggy.
"Not like that, what I mean is, we think the whole fresh laptop is just a cover, and his actual user is somewhere hidden from people's view." said Afreen.
"That does sound like him, but.. it's Tim, sweetie, I don't think he would ever leave a way to access his laptop." said Maggy.
"Afreen! we found a way to access his laptop, come on up!" yelled Selina.
