Meanwhile back at the lake house where due to the rain, Afreen and her new found friends are forced to spent their night over this mysterious house for the day as the night arrives. While her friends are playing around, Afreen stands towards the window, awaiting till she gets a call from Khayun regarding her status thus far and asks about how is everything going on with him when suddenly Jason who notices slowly arrives. "Am I interrupting something?" asked Jason to which Afreen turns. "Jason, hey." said Afreen as she hides her phone. "Hey, room for one more?" asked Jason. "Of course, come on." said Afreen as Jason then joins beside Afreen, joining the rain fall outside. "So, how are the others?" asked Afreen. "Pretty much the same, playing around, having fun till day light arrives, pretty sure they're not gonna sleep till then." said Jason to which Afreen smiles. "What about you then? didn't have fun?" asked Afreen. "Usually I do, but I don't know, I just feel.. different, and when I come to the place I usually arrive when I'm different, I see someone already in it." said Jason. "This is your place?" asked Afreen. "Not exactly, more like, how do I put this? uhmm, whenever I feel like I'm confused or lost, I lean onto things that aren't, like the rain, and trees.." said Jason before silencing when Afreen finishes his sentences. "It gives clarity, makes us realizes not everything born lost are meant to be lost." said Afreen. "Yes, exactly, you took the words right out of my mouth." said Jason. "Well.. I've had experience." said Afreen. "Like what?" asked Jason. "Honestly, still I have no idea, but before me, tell me yours." said Afreen. "Well, my story isn't exactly the type of story to tell.." said Jason. "Oh, yeah sure, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sound a little peaky." said Afreen. "Hey, you're not peaky alright? I didn't mean it like that, it's just.." said Jason. "I understand, it's difficult, it's alright Jason, you don't want to tell if you need to." said Afreen. "Perhaps I need to maybe, to relive it off my chest, if you want to hear, that is." said Jason. "I'm all ears." said Afreen to which Jason smiles. "Okay, where to begin, at first, I was the kind of guy who naturally has a tendency to see what people are saying without even having talking to them, not like mind reading, but I can read people pretty good." said Jason. "That's.. cute, I mean.. it's nice, sorry." said Afreen. "Yeah, didn't think it much of a problem until it was, and that problem came on the day I fell in love, a common love story, not much to tell, we met through friends, it didn't start off through that way, but it eventually lead to it." said Jason. "What happened then?" asked Afreen. "Well.. at first, we were in love, at least that's what I thought it was, late night chatting, intimate talks, we did pretty much everything except for physical intimacy as couple, but still called ourselves as friends, close friends to be honest." said Jason. "That led to a problem didn't it?" asked Afreen. "It did, I can't explain it, but I've always felt like she didn't want me to make the move, she didn't say it, but I felt it, and I thought, I don't know, maybe her parents didn't like the thought of having her daughter fall in love, it's just that, I didn't want to make the move, because well.. I didn't want to lose her, but in the end, that's what eventually did happen, for a few months, I didn't receive any kind of messages from her, during the lockdown, and then, one day, she came to me and said, I love someone, I honestly didn't know what to say, I mean, I don't hate her for it, I know what I am, and it's fine that someone didn't like me the same way I did, so.. I congratulated her, came up with some small talks, and finally said her to remain in touch, and that was the last I ever did." said Jason. "I'm really sorry." said Afreen. "No, come on, I'm not the kind of guy who would grieve over some broken heart, in fact I make fun of them all the time, which I now regret, considering how much pain they must have went through that time." said Jason. "Did you tell her how you feel?" asked Afreen. "I thought of it, yes, but... I'm too scared to know the answer so.. no, I didn't, what would be the point of it?" said Jason. "Jason, you've loved her, she should know." said Afreen. "And then what? we live happily ever after? (chuckles) I know I'm not gonna get a positive answer, I mean, it's not like she didn't know I was into her, I've always made obvious about that, it's just that, I don't want to tell it now, because, one, I know the answer is gonna tear me apart, good or bad, and two, I love her, I still do, and I don't want her to feel bad about what she did to me, so.. I eventually let it pass, even though it's not gonna be a easy task." said Jason. "She really missed out a incredible guy, I'm really sorry." said Afreen. "Don't be, enough sob talks about me, tell me yours now, if you'd like?" asked Jason. "Of course, but.. a word of advice, it might sound a little boring." said Afreen. "Can't be boring than mine, I mean come on, how bad it could be?" asked Jason. "Well, where do I start? I.. had a crush, it was without a warning, like most people, and just when I thought it was just a attraction, he showed up at a f*******: page." said Afreen. "What?" asked Jason. "Yeah, it's.. he was a hacker, a ethical or something, it's a computer stuff, and he was awarded for it, which displayed at the page where I was in, and I was like, what the hell for mostly five to ten minutes, until I came to a conclusion that it was just a coincidence, then the next day, he showed up at my school as the new kid." said Afreen. "Fated to be I guess?" asked Jason. "Exactly, at least that's what I thought, but.. he didn't exactly make friends, or get popular there as well, to which, I didn't know what or how to approach him, in fact, he made alot of enemies, some even tried to kidnap him once." said Afreen. "Seriously? what happened then?" asked Jason. "He escaped, showed up right at the car where I was, once or twice could be a coincidence, but come on, three?" asked Afreen. "Fated soul, destined to meet." said Jason. "Hey, it's not like that, I mean.. at first, yeah, I've had that feeling, and then suddenly he grabbed the attention of the hottest girl in school, whom also happened to be my best friend as well." said Afreen. "That could be bad." said Jason. "I know right, I mean, it just made it worse, every time I tried to get close to him, something out of the dark just spawns up, bullys, rivalry, heck even he even went missing for two years after that." said Afreen. "Wow." said Jason. "I know, my reaction exactly, I mean, come on man, can't I have this one dork to fall in love with? it's not like I asked for some rich kid or popular celebrity, it's just a boy, a stubborn, tempered issues, yet.. kind one, quite.. innocent to even glimpse sometimes." said Afreen. "Well, you what they say, the bigger the picture is, the harder it will be to get, I mean, sure, missing for two years sounds really.. I don't even know what to say, but.. at least did you tell him how you feel before he went missing?" asked Jason. "He didn't go missing permanently, he came back, and.. as soon as he did, first thing I wanted to do is that, tell him how I really feel, and I was there, just waiting to say him, to talk to that dork after two years of his disappearance, but.. as soon as I saw him, something.. changed." said Afreen. "Like what?" asked Jason. "Well, it's like, I didn't need to tell it, because for the first time, I saw it within his eyes, it was like he proposed me through it, and I accepted, throughout the dinner we had, all he did was just.. stunned, and for the first time, I actually thought he was gonna propose me maybe, it was that close, but.." said Afreen. "But.. what? did he go missing again?" asked Jason. "Much worse actually, he.. changed, at first I didn't notice it, but then.. it became as clear as day, it was like seeing another person in his skin, and then, I don't know, whenever I look at him, it's the same, like, that wasn't the person I fell in love with, he's there, but it's just not him." said Afreen. "Well.. I would be totally lying if I say I'm not confused." said Jason. "I know, it's my fault, I should just go and say it, tell him how I feel, but then, it's not him, he's not Tim, he's someone else, and that might be a guy, but not the boy I fell in love with." said Afreen. Meanwhile, back at Tim's house, now remodeled to suit the doctor's needs as most of his equipments had been already placed. Dr Sayeed goes around the place to check in one each of his equipment's condition while Khayun lifts off every luggage he brought with a single hand, whilst carrying some stuff he was instructed to take from the Creed officials as well. "I'm flattered my, you live in a really large house Khayun, I could fit two office in here." said Dr Sayeed.
