Chapter 73

"It's a little late for that hon... kill him." said Nadja as Corso gets ready to execute him when suddenly the doors of the warehouse burst out open, which shocks everyone within.

"It can't be, how did the creed... aggh.." said Nadja when a arrow bursts into her chest from the door and soon as the people from outside emerges, they are revealed to be none other than another group of Nagas, led by a Queen Naga who accompanied Athina as well who shoot with her crossbow.

"Holy s**t, is that. a? a ghost?" asked Athina. "Get them!" yelled the Queen Naga as she rushes down with her forces while Athina rushes out to assist Khayun. "What? Athina? what the hell are you doing here?" asked Khayun.

"Shouldn't I be asking that question Tim? relax, I know who you are, just wait alright.. (takes out a syringe) this might sting a little." said Athina who plunges down the syringe right into his chest, and presses the vial inside to which he screams, but just as his eyes open, they turn from dark green light to a brighter green colour as the vial starts spreading throughout his system, making him scream with every pain he is being endured with.

Meanwhile, the Queen Naga continues fighting off Corso as well as Nadja with the small group of fellow Nagas she brought, and even despite that, their opponents seem powerful enough to withstand through many of their attacks. "Queen of Nagas, coming to a rescue on a worthless pine of s**t, didn't think you would hit so low!" yelled Nadja while fighting.

"You should have never joined yourself with the likes of him Nadja, we would have been there for you!" yelled the Queen Naga. "There for me? you were never there for me! none of you were, I was alone, I was lost, only comfort I found in life was with Abe, and you took it from me! you've destroyed it all!" yelled Nadja.

"You think I would destroy the life of my own daughter? I wanted you to be happy." said the Queen Naga. "And yet, now you align with the very bastard who put us in cages! soon it will be you who will rot in one." said Nadja. "I promised myself I wouldn't let them in once again in cages again, and I shall not break that promise!" yelled Queen Naga.

"Will you two just cut it out! enough fighting! just kill her!" yelled Corso who plunges in his energy wave of absorbance just after slamming down several waves of the nagas, to which Nadja attempts to latch onto her given her weakened state and almost goes to sink in her fangs when a dark energy outlined with green light bursts onto her, pushing her all the way onto the walls.

As Corso turns, it reveals out to be Khayun himself, now energised twice as before, and starts charging himself with energy as he lunges onto Corso, inflicting multiple attacks on him as he gets thrown away onto the walls.

"You.. backstabbing.. piece.. of.. crockballing.. s**t! think you can take on me now!" yelled Khayun who continually starts beating him with every energy he could harness until Corso uses his hands to plunge into Khayun and starts burning him from within using his own flame.

"Like that bastard? think you want some more?" yelled Corso when Khayun starts to enrage in further, changing his appearance away onto a form of spider, only with burning skin of green flame while the very wound Corso put into becomes his mouth in which he bites it off and digests it to which Corso screams in pain.

As he immediately starts freeing himself from the hold of Khayun and launches out a wave of energy which bursts out everyone nearby, including Khayun who gets tossed away.

As they attempt to recover from the blast, Khayun soon finds the handless Corso, now in his true demonic form with fangs bursting out from his teeth, is left with a wave of fire throughout his whole body, similar to how Khayun is.

"You think you can take me down! you aren't strong enough to stop me, none of you are!" yelled Corso while Nadja, whom had gotten herself caught onto the hold of several Nagas who sunk multiple bites on her, and managed to pin her down while she reaches out to Corso.

"The day will come where I crush all your skulls, and one that day, I will.." said Corso before getting interrupted by Nadja who spills out her dying plea for help. "Corso, help me, please.." cried Nadja.

"Piss off.. I've had just enough trouble about today." said Corso who starts diminishing himself to disappear back to Alj'ahim, the homeworld of Jinns before Khayun is able to grapple onto him, in which he runs into thin air. "Nooo! please! don't leave me here, Corso I love you! Corso please!" cried Nadja who continues mourning.

"He isn't coming back, I told you from the very beginning..." said Queen Naga as she had let down her guard and attempts to console her daughter. "No, get away from me, I said stay away!" screams Nadja at her mother. "But.." said the Queen Naga before getting interrupted by Nadja.

"Stay away! stay.. away!" cried Nadja as she falls into a deep deprived of sorrow while the Queen Naga sighs, then turns towards Khayun, as well as Athina who had been watching the fight who continues to arrive towards them as well. "Where.. where did he go?" asked Khayun.

"My guess, back to Alj'ahim, he'll be back, for revenge, as well as his love.." said the Queen Naga who transforms into a humanly form of herself, then lends to offer her hand to help Khayun get him, to which Khayun accepts and stands.

"How.. how did you find me?" asked Khayun. "Seriously? god you are so rude, how about a thanks? we just risked our lives to save you, lying bastard." said Athina.

"Athina, please, it is not in the nature of Khayun, to be.. grateful in words, but I'm sure he's thankful we arrived." said the Queen Naga. "Who are you people? Why'd you rescue me? what was he talking about, and most importantly, what is she doing here?" asked Khayun.

"Saving your a*s, you i***t, you're welcome by the way." said Athina as she departs to bring back some fresh clothes for Khayun. "It was a desperate move, once she revealed me the video of Corso entering Prakash's office, I knew you were next, sorry it took so long, but I am grateful I've arrived just in time." said the Queen Naga.

"For the third time, who the hell are you? how did you find me?" asked Khayun. "Apologies, my name is Isheseth, however to the outside world, I am known as Mrs Clarissa Khatri, one of the board of directors on Ayntac Educational Centre." said the Queen Naga. "You're married? to a.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Clarissa.

"A human yes, a husband who understood, and was happy for what I am, we've been watching you Khayun, since the moment you got here, while your intentions are to work for our foe, we believe you can be.. better, a worthy ally and a friend to our cause." said Clarissa.

"A cause, what cause?" asked Khayun. "Ah, another person, sent blind to the truth, well, you can't expect much from Creed, but Mr Khayun.." said Clarissa before getting interrupted by Khayun. "Just Khayun would be fine, I'm not a human." said Khayun.

"Why? you sure as well look a better human, than most beings who call themselves for it." said Clarissa. "You know nothing about me." said Khayun. "I know alot about you Khayun, and your former brother Tim too, how you.. live out his life in his name is admirable, one that is worthy enough for a human trait, still if you wish, Khayun it is, then." said Clarissa.

"What do you want?" asked Khayun. "A chance, that's all, I am extremely sorry about the mess Corso made, it was my intention to align you to our cause, suspecting that, Corso took it a opportunity to put a end for you, before you have a chance to hear us out." said Clarissa.

"Why would Corso do that? and not to mention, did you always knew he was a.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Clarissa. "A student, yes, I've known, better to keep your friends close and your enemies closer, I thought, and as for explanation on what happened, I will promise you I can do that, but only if you return me with a certain favour." said Clarissa.

"What?" asked Khayun.

"It's simple, there is a reason to keep our existence in secret, and I've planned to do that for as long as I need it to be, and all I ask in return, is if you make sure, it stays in that way, the existence of Nagas and their natures must not leave this place, no matter what." said Clarissa.

"Why? I mean, I get it, being a Jinn is a secret too, but if the humans found out Nagas were friendly, perhaps an alliance could be.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Clarissa.

"I'm afraid that's upto me to decide Khayun, I thank you for admiration, and all I ask in return is for you to keep our existence in secret." said Clarissa. "And what if I refuse?" asked Khayun.

"Then.. I suppose things will take in a drastic turn of events, one that I did come prepared in fact, but all I ask is that, you don't make a decision now, once you hear our plea, you will understand our cause, and what we fight for, and most important of all, the truth." said Clarissa.

"The truth?" asked Khayun.

"Yes, of everything, one you will soon come to know, but for now, I suggest you head home, and think about it, I'll get in touch with you soon." said Clarissa
