"Yes, he is.. alive." said Khayun. "That's.. a weird response to give, what do you mean? what happened to him?" asked Afreen. "He's fine, Afreen, he needs some rest, that's all, until he returns, I just have to take care of both roles for myself." said Khayun.
"Oh, but I mean like, where is he? is it possible for me to talk with him?" asked Afreen. "In a matter of time, yes, soon, you will talk to him, everyone will, okay? I can't provide you in any details regarding him, except for my word in ensuring that he's alive, alright?" asked Khayun.
"Fine, I guess, as long as he's okay, you take good care of him, alright? let me know as soon as he returns." said Afreen.
"I will, good day Afreen." said Khayun who bursts away into the dark green cloud as he races all the way back to his home, having done the job.
As soon as he enters the house, he rings up one more time to Sharon only to be getting no reply at all and just as he does it, suddenly, a weird noise is drawn within his cupboard to which his attention turns as he thinks it might be a Intruder, but as soon as he opens, he realises it's nothing more than a rat causing the sound which runs away as soon as it opens.
Soon, a whole month has passed since Khayun took on the life of Timothy Blake to investigate on the existence of Nagas, as well as being a assistant to Dr Ravindra Prameel, who had only remained in touch with him through emails when it comes to his work.
As life passes by, Khayun almost feels like a stranger to his previous one, and soon understand that the best way to move forward is to accept his newfond life, and confirming there isn't a threat or anything related to Nagas on Ayntac Educational Centre, except on that fateful day, when he finally came across them in the following week.
In order to save money on his loan, Khayun rather switched himself to public transport and would sometimes use his powers within the shadows to reach sooner to his destination since his uncle depart away from town on business affairs.
As he once again, stumbles into the institution, which is as usual, crowded when it comes to classes that were taken important, Khayun witnesses nearly all of them are tending to their phones, with not a single one of them having conversations with each other, other than their usual chatting.
"Marvellous technology, even if someone were to remove their pants, they wouldn't know." whispered Khayun within himself as he steps into his classroom and onto his seat alone, while the rest of the class seem busy, to which he rather seem pleased, since the hatred for humanity still lingers within him.
"Hey! you there, new kid!" yelled a voice to which Khayun doesn't respond, thinking it's someone else, until, the very few boys approach to his table.
"Hey, I'm talking to you!" yelled a boy as he pounds on his table to which everyone's attention turns towards him while Khayun already seems frustrated with his life.
"So? talk then, I didn't ask you to shut up." said Khayun to which the boy grins. "You think, it's funny? you just made me mad bro." said the boy. "What the hell do you want?" asked Khayun.
"Now you're talking business, Canadian kid right? why don't you hand me a fifty bucks from your wallet huh? I'm sure we can reach a comprise." said the boy. "What are you gonna do with my money?" asked Khayun.
"Whatever I want, now.. either give me, or I'll pull you off n***d in front of the entire school." said the boy to which Khayun smirks. "Something funny?" asked the boy.
"Here I thought, I wouldn't have any excitement, as long as idiots like you exist, I'll live." said Khayun to which the boy enrages and attempts to attack, but Khayun counters and grapples a counter on him, to which he puts on a hold and slams him down to a table while his friends too attempt to join, but when Khayun stares off a creepy look, they immediately back away.
"Hey! what the hell?" asked the boy.
"I told you, do not piss me off." said Khayun.
"You didn't." said the boy.
"What?" asked Khayun. "You didn't tell me about anything related to pissing." said the boy. "Oh, huh? I must have forgotten, still, you're not the thick type to listen aren't you? you little fat freak!" asked Khayun.
"Just please, let me go, you're hurting me." said the boy to which Khayun sighs, and releases him as he backs away.
"I'm sorry about that, alright, back away with your phoney, and we'll have a good time, alright, now just piss off before I do something worse to you.. wait, and he runs, damnit." said Khayun as the boy runs away before he could even finish the sentence to which Khayun turns around, and finds the entire class staring at him plainly, having seated in the front bench.
"What are you all looking at? am I n***d or something?" asked Khayun to which the people turn back their attention towards the studies as they saw the teacher arrive while Khayun didn't. "Good, just a great class in everyday life." said Khayun.
"You may sit down Mr Timothy Blake (Khayun turns and notices the teacher's arrival) you are Tim right?" asked Mr. Prakash. "Uh.. yes?" said Khayun. "The boys who started running away like the seen a ghost, I assume it relates it to you?" asked Mr Prakash. "Sort of.. I am.. (sighs) sorry." said Khayun.
"We'll have a talk in my office after class finishes, right now, I would like you to sit in the back please, you seem to draw more attention than me." said Mr Prakash to which the students start giggling as Khayun frustrates and sits in the back as asked.
As moments pass with the class tending to the lesson, while Khayun's eyes seem rather fallen into the book, after failing to find anything auspicious since the moment he got in here.
"Pssh.." said a voice to which Khayun doesn't respond. "Pssh.. hey, over here." said a boy from behind. "Yes what? you want fifty bucks too?" asked Khayun whisperingly.
"No, no, no man, that was amazing, I've never seen anyone made fazil dropped out like that, I mean, he cried like a baby, well he almost did." said the boy. "Yeah whatever, just concentrate on the lesson, alright?" asked Khayun.
"I'm Shumair, my friend beside me, it's Abdullah, but we call him CR7." said Shumair to which his friend shushes him to concentrate on the lesson, just like he is. "Dunno, don't care.. just.. p... I mean, let's talk after class alright?" asked Khayun.
"Sure, roger that." said Shumair as he smiles widely. "Students there, on the back, that is if you are one, mind to keep your mouth quiet? you can talk all you want outside." said Mr Prakash to which Shumair falls silent and quiet with a angry look.
"Hm... let us proceed to the lesson then." said Mr Prakash as he continues.
Soon after he's done with the lesson, Khayun races bolt from the institution but gets stopped by Mr Prakash. "Mr Tim, I told you to wait, didn't I? why the rush?" asked Mr Prakash. "I.. I don't feel so good." said Khayun.
"Well, you seem alright to me, come to my office now, let us talk in there." said Mr Prakash. "Look sir, I'm sorry, but it's not my fault, it's those guys they were, wait, s**t, what am I doing?" asked Khayun as Mr Prakash shuts the door within his office once Khayun enters. "Maintaining your cover, it was rather pleasant enough." said Mr Prakash as he sits down.
"Cover? what are you..." asked Khayun.
"Relax, Dr. Sayeed sent me here, I know all about you Khayun, he briefed me on the details." said Mr Prakash. "Wait, you're the spy?" asked Khayun. "What were you picturing for? James bond, listen Khayun, your job, as does mine, involves, staying within the boundaries established over this institution." said Mr Prakash. "But, I told you.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Mr Prakash.
"Yes, the boys picked on you first, what are you? nine? according to the records you provided, you're almost a thousand years older than him, yet you act like a child to a child." said Mr Prakash.
"I just had a rough day, alright? I wouldn't want to draw in any unwanted attention either, but those fools.." said Khayun before getting interrupted by Mr Prakash.
"Will leave you alone, once you provide them with what they want." said Mr Prakash as he hands in over a fifty bucks. "What is this?" asked Khayun. "They will be waiting outside, harm one rat, and a horde of them will return to infest, that's just the way of humans." said Mr Prakash as Khayun grabs the money.
"Okay, now can I leave then?" asked Khayun. "Not unless you give me your word, you'll return the money they asked for, and leave them alone, do you understand me?" asked Mr Prakash.
"I do, in fact, but no, and for the record, I'm not a vampire, I'm a Jinn, I'm not entitled to give my word just because I said it." said Khayun. "Understandable, I didn't mean that." said Mr Prakash. "Then what did you mean?" asked Khayun.
"Just listen to me! alright? I know it's hard, trying to fit in within a picture you have no idea, what it is made of when all you could do, is burn it to hell rather than go through all that, but we have no choice, we have to comply, it's our job, and trust me when I say, it's better to keep your head down, rather than drawing attention which will likely fail the mission you intend to proceed." said Mr Prakash
