"A sense of familiar energy nearby, it's close, but I cannot pinpoint on where it is coming from." said Khayun. "So it's a Jinn then?" asked the soldier.

"Could be, I cannot say for sure." said Khayun. "Whatever, let's move out." said the soldier as the head towards the centre of the city.

Just as they approach towards a spot where they could view a glimpse on what is happening within the city, the soldiers as well as the metafreaks are both shocked and astonished by the appearance of Obsidian, now at the size of a giant with him standing at the centre of the city as he absorbs its energy while monstrous creatures stand below to worship and roam around.

"My god, what the hell happened to this place?" asked the soldier as he looks through the binoculars as well as Eve who uses a binocular of her own while Tim uses his the eyesight of Khayun which is of extreme power to view, without using the binoculars.

"Seems pretty messed up, what's your orders chief?" asked Eve. "Division, one will distract the tiny monsters towards a certain direction while the other distract the big green monster." said the Creed soldier.

"And the last?" asked Tim.

"That's you freak, your buddy found a familiar energy right? go for it and see what it is, if you can't find anything on it, do your thing with the monster." said the creed soldier. "Do your thing? which is.." said Eve.

"Well, I just.." said Tim before getting interrupted by the creed soldier

"You'll see it soon enough, we don't have time for your exposition, Alright, let's move out." said the creed soldier as they proceed on their tasks. Soon, as Obsidian's becomes more powerful than before, with his green aura spreading like wildfire all over his body and his laughter sounds like the thunder of clouds, division one get into position which consists of the soldiers as they approach the scene opening fire at the horde of little monsters.

"Distraction set, go for it!" yelled the Creed soldier as the monsters spot on the coming threat and rush off to fight them. Despite being a horde, many of the monsters are killed within a single bullet or two which makes the soldier's task alot easier, but seeing this, Obsidian glances towards the bloodbath caused by the soldiers and start approaching them.

"Big thing coming our way! Division two, that's you!" yelled the creed soldier through Comm as Eve and Tim along with a small group of soldiers approach the monster solely through another direction and begin to engage him.

"Hey! you big ugly!" yelled Eve to which the monster doesn't respond. "Whatever, catch this!" yelled Eve as she levitates multiple objects and rubbles of the ruined constructions and start throwing at the monster which doesn't impact as it flows within him. "What the hell.." said Eve as Obsidian turns and starts approaching towards her.

"I can't fight him, but I think I got his attention." said Eve through Comm. "What do you mean?" asked the Creed soldier. "Everything just went through it, it's like he's invisible or something." said Tim as the monster starts engaging to which they dodge and attack back, but none of it really impacts him at all" said Eve.

"Either he is invulnerable, or an illusion." said Khayun. "What?" asked Eve. "I knew it! tell the soldiers to withdraw their firing now!" yelled Khayun. "What?" asked Tim. "Do it!" yelled Khayun. "Alright, you heard what the demon said, stop firing." said Tim. "I told you before kids, this is my squad, not yours, if you wanna stop him, then stop him." said the creed soldier. "You idiots! you are firing at your own people!" yelled Khayun.

"What?" asked Tim.

"It's all a illusion, a work of a Jinn, not just them, we're all affected by it." said Khayun. "Okay, what do we do then?" asked Eve. "Tell your people to stop, for enforce them, we will take care of the rest." said Khayun as he takes control of the body and rushes towards the monster.

"God, I hope you're right Khayun." said Eve as flies off by levitating herself towards the soldiers who are firing. "Eve, what the hell are you doing? get back into position!" yelled the Creed soldier.

"Sorry guys, nothing personal." said Eve as she draws into the Amaranthine as much as she can and pushes off the bullets they fire at the horde of monsters as the soldiers fire. "You i***t! what the hell are you doing?" asked the creed soldier. "Saving you all, you're welcome by the way." said Eve as she bursts out a telekinetic wave towards the horde and the soldier and pushes them away after lifting off all guns from the soldiers.

"Eve's gone rogue, I repeat, Eve's gone rogue." said the Creed soldier. "Shut up you i***t, you'll thank her later." said Khayun as he rushes into the leg off the monster but right after he's inside it, he attempts to absorb the energies which casts this illusion but just as the monster takes it leg away from him, he loses control.

"I need to be inside him! at the heart." said Khayun. "Got it, Eve, could you lift us a hand over?" asked Tim. "I'm a bit busy here." said Eve. "Hold on, I got it." said Khayun as he transforms back to his thick black liquid and flows off into the tallest building closeby at a rapid speed until he reaches the rooftop of the building where he relinquishes control.

"I.. am unable to, I can no longer move, go Tim, run as fast as you can." said Khayun. "You mean jump right? into mid air?" asked Tim. "Do it!" yelled Khayun. "Okay, got it." said Tim as he sprints off, fast as he can but without the power of Khayun making him go faster, Obsidian almost moves to a point where reaching for him seem impossible for Tim after the jump.

"Wait, hold on." said Khayun who immediately notices it. "Too late." said Tim as he takes off seconds before his warning and falls off, inches close to Obsidian's head. "Oh shit." said Tim as he falls.

"Hold on." said Eve as she lets go of the horde and the soldiers and flies off towards the body of the Obsidian whole pulling Tim towards her telekinetically. "Hold on to what? the air?" asked Tim as he gets pulled into the body of Obsidian where Eve is levitating inside as well.

"Thanks." said Tim.

"Holy s**t, this is a illusion." said Eve as she looks around within him. "Eve, get us to his head, we'll take care of the test." said Khayun. "I thought you said heart." said Tim. "They're both the same thing, aren't they?" asked Khayun. "No man, they're not." said Tim as he gets pushed off onto the head of Obsidian where he plunges onto the control of it as Obsidian screams.

"Ready?" asked Khayun.

"Go for it." said Tim as they both start absorbing the energies of the projection as it's powrss begin to diminish.

Soon, with a burst of light, Eve gets tossed away onto the surface as this burst of light causes a huge blast within mid air. Eve tries to gain balance as she falls down and finally grips on her balance as she lands towards a pile of dead bodies which was monsters prior but as the illusion diminishes, it is revealed to be civilans after all.

"No." said Eve upon the shock of the discovery while Tim and Khayun emerge onto the surface, with the green burning flame aura over them as their eyes glow green. Soon, the living civilans whom Eve pushed off return over the pile of bodies and start mourning over the dead while Eve looks saddened over them as the Creed soldiers too approach, horrified of what they've done.

"No, no, no, no, no." continues the creed soldier as he drops on his knee, with the shock of seeing children murdered by his own bullets as Eve ragingly looks upon him and approaches. "Happy with that you've did? think you wanted more blood?" asked Eve.

"I didn't.. I didn't know." said the Creed soldier as Tim too approaches them after being returned to his original form. "This is why I wanted you to stop, the ones you fired were projected as monsters, while we were projected as monsters to them." said Khayun.

"So, there were no enemies, it was all just a trick." said Eve as Tim looks above to see the dome standing. "Except for the dome, it's still standing." said Tim. "Why?" asked Eve when suddenly they get a transmission. "Command to Team Alpha, can you hear me? please confirm." said the a voice from transmission.

"Command, we hear you, This is Captain Rogers." said the creed soldier. "What's the situation in there, what did you find?" asked the voice. "Don't worry, we took care of it, under a heavy price." said Eve. "Roger that, we're working on turning off the dome, stand by." said the voice.

"Turning it off? how?" asked Eve when a well dressed civilans approach them. "The dome wasn't part of anything that happened here, it was built by us." said the civilian. "Us? who are you?" asked Tim. "My name is Gregory Dalton, I work for Elon Darwin as his accountant, he owns several Casinos around here." said the civilans.

"This Elon, he built it?" asked Tim.

"Yes, in a way, number of people who own businesses in Las Vegas came together to build a safe guard in case of world changing events like nuclear warfare, it was designed to keep the city of Las Vegas safe from the dangers of the outside, but I've ever imagined someone would use it to destroy the city itself." said Gregory.

"He didn't destroy your city, he raided it completely, it was his plan all along." said Khayun when suddenly the dome begins to diminish.
