Chapter 29 & 30

"What the hell." said the police officer as they start firing at her, which seems to do nothing while Selina from upstairs start hitting the doorknobs with all her might several times.

She eventually breaks open the doorknob then bursts open to find Afreen, who is unconscious is being attached into the front of a beating fleshy brown skinned heart at the size of a man with the aorta having spinned into her hands and legs being tied like rope knot to keep her from escaping.

"Afreen, wake up." shouts Selina to which no response comes. "I'm gonna free you, one way or the other." said Selina as she takes the spanner and starts hitting on the heart which hurts Mommy from below as she drops down when she was almost about to kill the cops. "No!" shouts Mommy as she goes off to run, but gets fired by a police officer whom she almost strangled to death.

"Piss off!" yelled Mommy as she returns back to the officer and twists her head off, then sprints back onto the room, only to get her heart get smashed by the final hit landed by Selina.

"No!" screams Mommy as Afreen awakens, with a reflective mirror like flame bursting out of her like a protective aura, her eyes too changes away from regular human ones to mirror flame burning from within as she bursts out a wave of energy as she screams, burning away the taint of Mommy completely as the wave spreads away throughout the house.

Selina's eyes shut away due to the brightness of the flame, and moments pass, as she wakes up within the same room, now being shined in sunlight just like a regular room. Selina turns around to see Afreen beside, levitating in mid air as the mirror flame aura still all over her without her conscious fully awake.

"Holy s**t! Afreen?" asked Selina to which no response comes at first but the aura starts fading away as Afreen lands on the surface out of a sudden. "Afreen, wake up, Af?" said Selina once more as she tries to wake up to which Afreen slowly does. "Selina.. what's going on? where am I?" asked Afreen. "Af! snap out of it." said Selina as she lands her with a slap.

"Ow.. why?" asked Afreen.

"What the hell was that? you didn't tell me you're a superhero or something?" asked Selina. "What do you mean?" asked Afreen. "You were bursting out a wave of flame, it wasn't red flame, more like someone painted mirror over it, but it was all around you." said Selina.

"Selina, you're not making sense." said Afreen when suddenly a knock is heard from downstairs. "Hello? anybody home? or is everyone dead?" asked a familiar voice revealed to be Irene whom had come to check on them. "Must be Irene, come on." said Selina as she helps Afreen get back on her feet as they then head downstairs.

As they climb down the stairs, they see no traces of the darkness that lingered within this house, it is as if the demise of the demon destroyed it completely. As Selina opens the door, Irene is both shocked, but relived to see them both alive.

"You're both alive, thank god." said Selina as she instantly hugs them. "woow.. group hug." said Selina to which Irene breaks the hug and returns back to her usual self. "So, what the hell happened? I thought it was just going to be some confrontation." said Irene.

"It was, until we found out Edward is a ghost, or his sister, or his mom, I don't know." said Selina. "What?" asked Irene. "All I saw was a brown skinned giant heart which grabbed me instantly, after that I blacked out." said Afreen.

"What the hell are you guys talking about? speaking of, where is Ivan?" asked Irene.

Soon, after explaining to both Irene and Afreen about what happened, they head towards the basement, looking for Ivan who seems to be nowhere in the house above.

"Ivan? you in here?" yelled Afreen to which no response comes. "I can't believe I missed out on so many things, I should have come with you." said Irene.

"We almost died going in, and you wanted to join us?" asked Afreen. "I've never seen a ghost before, let alone the three in one package, and a fleshy heart? come on." said Irene.

"Trust me, you wish you hadn't if you seen it with your own eyes." said Selina when suddenly a crying sound could be heard at a distance. "Did you hear that?" asked Irene to which they immediately start following where the crying is coming from, revealed to be from the final door resting at the end.

"Why would someone build dungeon cells in a basement?" asked Irene. "Doesn't look like they built it, look at it's rusting, this thing looks older than the house." said Afreen when the crying continues, this time louder than before. "We need to head back, this is a bad idea." said Selina. "Oh, come on, it could be Ivan behind that door." said Irene.

"Irene, the things that I've seen here, will haunt me for the rest of my days, whatever is inside, even if it's Ivan, I say we'll inform the cops and let them handle it." said Selina. "I already did, they came knocking on your doors, but when the angry lady shut tight, the cops start breaking in." said Irene.

"What happened to them?" asked Afreen.

"Dammed if I know, could be even them inside, we need to see it for ourselves." said Irene when suddenly the crying stops. Afreen waits for a moment, thinking deeply about whether or not she should go, but she then decides to head forward but gets stopped by Selina.

"Please don't, you have no idea what's inside, let the cops check for themselves." said Selina. "The cops will be likely to arrest anyone they find in here, we need to get whoever is inside." said Selina.

"But.." said Selina before getting interrupted by Afreen. "If you don't wanna stay, it's fine Selina, you can leave, I understand, but I'm not leaving anyone in here alone, not after what I've seen." said Afreen as she heads towards the door and unlocks it as the door automatically slides, paving itself open.

The room is filled with markings of satanic symbols as well as nails of humans and bones of rats are all over, but what shocks them the most is the person who is crying, revealed be the actual young Emily looks like she's been trapped in here forever, with a phone close to her and wearing strange robes with stitched parts on where it had been teared off.

"Oh my god." said Irene who is shocked, just as much as Selina with all of their eyes worried over what poor Emily had went through.

Afreen approaches her slowly and upon sighting her, Emily rushes off to hide under her bed. "Hey, don't be afraid, I'm not gonna hurt you, I swear." said Afreen as she lends her hand to which Emily seemed hesitant and wipes off her tears from her scarred face.

"The monster, it's gone, we got rid of it." said Afreen to which no response comes from Emily. "Afreen, maybe we should.." said Irene before getting silenced by Afreen upon her signal. "Emily.. you're Emily right?" asked Afreen to which she nods.

"Emily, no one is here except for us, and I swear, we're not gonna hurt you, but one of our friends, he's missing, we need to find him." said Afreen.

"Not here, they took him with them." said Emily. "Who?" asked Afreen. "Moummy." said Emily. "Who's Moummy?" asked Irene. "The angry woman whom you met at the door." said Selina. "Right, her." said Irene.

"Did this Moummy put you in here?" asked Afreen to which Emily nods with a disapproving signal. "Then who did this to you?" asked Afreen. "Family..." said Emily.

"My god." said Irene.

"The application, you did it, didn't you?" asked Afreen after looking towards the phone, then onto her to which Emily remains idle.

"I loved Ivan, I wanted him.. with me, but he was leaving... I made sure he wouldn't, Edward.. he knew everything, he threaten to tell everything.. unless I.." said Emily as she stops and continues crying as Afreen approaches her slowly and hugs her.

"It's alright, you're safe now." said Afreen as he continues hugging.

Moments pass as the police had arrived, now with them having escorted everyone to safely and one of them questioning Irene about what happened. "So, you're telling me, you came here to find Timothy Blake, who agreed to help you find the hacker, which pointed to this location?" asked the police officer.

"Yep, my friends decided to snoop in while I sit by, and turns out, this house is haunted, you see, shortly after the hack was done, Edward, the brother of Emily got to know everything about her secret." said Irene.

"The affair with Ivan and the hack?" asked the police officer. "Yes, he used that to blackmail her which the uncle knew about, but kept it quiet since he didn't care." said Irene.

"Right, statement seems legit, except for the haunting part." said the police officer. "That's the best part, see this Emily, she found a hidden basement under her door where a demon resided, the demon pretend to be her mother and made a deal with.." said Irene before getting silenced by the police officer.

"Thank you for your statement ma'am, you can go, but don't leave town." said the police officer.

"But I haven't finished it yet, thought you wanted the full statement?" asked Irene.

"Yes, actual logical statement, not a horror movie script, stay safe." said the police officer as he wraps up and leaves. "Figures why he'd never get a promotion, whatever." said Selina as she approaches her friends, Afreen and Selina who had briefed their statements. "So, did they take it?" asked Selina.

"Stopped be at the word demon, how did yours go?" asked Irene. "Not even that, so, what now?" asked Afreen. "We came here to find Tim, now Ivan's missing too, and Afreen is a superhero." said Selina.

"I'm not." said Afreen.

"You are actually, you saved us, thank you for that." said Selina. "Looks like Selina found a heart too, congratulations." said Irene. "Thank you, and we.. good?" asked Selina. "Seemed stupid for me to fight over boys, plus we have to find two of them now." said Irene.

"Then we better get to it, right after a long rest I suppose." said Afreen. "Yeah, me too, I'm beat, tomorrow after school then?" asked Selina to which Afreen nods and so does Irene. "Great, be seeing you guys, bye." said Selina as she bids good-bye and leaves.

"She's changed, hasn't she?" asked Irene. "A bit, what about you?" asked Afreen.

"Well.. I'm less forgivable now, she risked a lot to solve another's person's problem, and cut his involvement with another girl." said Irene.

"Well, I'm just thankful he did, okay, I gotta go, bye." said Afreen as she bids a fistbump and leaves while Irene looks upon the house, now a active crime scene.
