Ryan sidesteps me and walks to where his brother stands. He grabs Grant's arm and stares him down. "I don't know what s**t you two have going on, but take that back. Right now."
Grant's expression turns pensive and his eyes darts to me as he says, "Three years ago, we broke things off. My brother told me he met someone that night. I would never have thought you could pull something so despicable. You found out about me. I don't know how, but you did, and you did all of this to get back at me for cheating on you."
His eyes drop to Ash and he adds, "Is he mine?"
"For the love of God, Grant! What is wrong with you?"
At the sound of the false name he gave me those years ago, he shifts uncomfortably, yanking his hand from Ryan's hard grip.
I can't believe I ever fell for someone like him.
