Chapter Twenty-Eight Slowly over the next few weeks, once the wedding and Christmas are far behind us and the overseas family members have returned to their various parts of the world, I start talking to Mom again. About everything. I talk to Sarah, living happily with her new husband a few suburbs away, and to Julia, via Skype. I talk to Isabelle as well, and the new friends I’m starting to make.
