Chapter 39 Cole began doing the small things without comment. He started leaving a glass of water by the bed before he left in the mornings. He adjusted the bathroom light so it was less harsh when I woke nauseous. When the weather turned cooler, he brought home a thicker sweater and set it on the chair without making a speech about it.
