The Darkest Moon

Prologue: Dreams

                 Flying through the air, rain is pouring on my wings. Breathless from trying to run away from the very thing I call home. I loved this place, but with recent attacks from my sister and her pack it is hard to stay in one place. Listening to the rain fall is the only solace I have to keep me sane. Flying faster then I ever could, I hear laughing and paws thudding in the newly created mud behind me. They get quicker. I try to fly higher and cannot. My sister flies higher then me and lands on a tree cornering me. Wolves are now surrounding me and snarling showing me there teeth. s**t what do I do now? I can't run I can 't hide. 

                Something in my head is begging to be let out. What are you? What is this? Who are you?

                "My name is Valkarie, Ember ". It said snarling like it was breathing fire.

                " Ok Valkarie but that doesn't answer my question. What are you, and what is your purpose here?" I think to myself, getting scared.

               " You will find out soon enough small one. When I do come out, you let me loose. It will be majestic. You need not know what I am right now. Just know I am here if you need someone with experience." He said with a laugh/snarl. All I could see was blue fire were he was sitting.

            Hmm okay? Well that doesn't help my situation right now. I look up at my sister Xander with pleading eyes. Begging her to spare me. She looks down at me like I am nothing to her. 

           " Hmm big sister of mine I have you now. and I am bringing you back home to rule with me. I make the rules now and forever. And you will help me." She said as she flew down with her angel wings and landed in front of me with a thud 

         " NO, I do not want to come home with you. I will not rule by your side and I will not help you!" I was getting angry. Blue fire surrounded my white wings as I fluttered them open. Does this mean war?

        With a blur she flies towards me, catching me with her hands. She was flying to the top of the mountain where we were born, were it all started. s**t this can't be good. Lowering me onto a cliff side she laughs and starts stomping on it. "Any last words sister?" She asked as she was almost there breaking the cliff off of the mountain edge.

       I shake my head and disbelief and she finally breaks it off. Falling, I am falling with no end it seemed like. There was a large roar in my head. What? What is going on right now? All of the sudden there was a wush of wind. I was flying high, higher then I ever could with my angel wings. What's going on? A voice came over in my mind.

     "Little one I am here to serve and protect you. I am Valkarie, your servant beast. We are one in the same. I told you if you let me out I would be majestic." He said as he flew over past Xander and all I could hear is yelling.

     What is this creature? Why can't I see him? I can feel him, but he wont tell me what he is.

    Everything is out of control. Falling once more towards the open sea. Seems like someone attacked us. Valkarie and I are screaming. Before I hit the water everything becomes a blur, screams are distant echos, and the laughing is gone. I jolted up in my bed and screamed. Sweat pouring off of me like I was in a sauna.      Holy s**t is was just a dream!!!!!!
