-One Week Later-
Mommy died because of an accident. It was also her fault because she didn't stop drinking. She drove a car while drunk, and she met her fate, crashing into a cement block and causing her death. We cremated her, and after a few days, we took her to her final destination. Daddy was less emotional, though. He seemed to have lost interest in his wife.
Laila begged him to give her a chance, that she would never drink again, but she lied. That's why Daddy wasn't surprised by what happened to her. I believe she deserves it because of the pain and hardship she caused both Daddy and me. Maybe it's her karma. Perhaps it is a matter of karma. While I may be perceived as a terrible adopted daughter, my thoughts are currently focused on the joyful future I envision with my father.
