When the doctor announced my mother's death, I was shocked and nearly collapsed. Daddy said she was still alive, with a heartbeat, but weak when we found her unconscious in bed. Upon our arrival at the hospital, nurses and doctors informed us that she had passed away. Daddy is now talking to the doctor, and I can see he is holding back his anger. I walked over to him, grabbed his arm, and rubbed my hands on his back to calm him down. He sighed heavily and nodded to the doctor.
