Doing good meant a lot to me. I returned the kids back to their families and the blog went a wire because of it. The news spread faster than fire. By morning, every TV channel, every radio station, and even social media was talking about the same thing — the mysterious man who rescued the missing kids. Some called him an angel. Others said he was a government experiment. A few even claimed he was an alien. I laughed when I heard all that. If only they knew. The truth was simple — I was just a boy trying to fix what others had broken. Each child had given a different version of the s********e said I had glowing eyes. Others said I could fly. One little girl even said I had wings of fire. It was funny, really. But deep down, I was glad. Those kids were safe. That was all that mattered
