Her Prince
Blinking awake to find Alex sitting up in bed watching her, Kimberly smiled. “I was in a mood yesterday, wasn’t I?”
“Please tell me what you mean.”
“I mean I covered you for all that time. I paddled you on top of a caning. I mean I was in a mood.”
“Yes, but I learned my lesson. I’ll never say ‘alright’ to you again.”
She stretched up and kissed him. “Do you sometimes wish, though, that you weren’t so vulnerable to my capricious nature?”
The word “no” formed on his lips before he stopped himself. “Please don’t think I ever wish that.”
“I almost caught you.”
