It wasn’t easy to find some privacy when there were constantly other people around so I was happy when the other five beds in the shared dorm were empty. I assumed people had already left for dinner but I wasn’t hungry yet. I sat on my bed, a pillow wedged between me and the wall so I could sit up straight. I didn’t know how long I’d be alone so I didn’t want to waste any time. A brief bout of nerves flitted through me as my phone tried to connect to Felicity’s.
