Arthur’s POV I noticed this the third day. Daniel no longer lingered in the kitchens. And when I entered, She would bow quickly and walk off before I could even say a word to her. She avoided the inner corridors I frequented. She now sends meals through servants instead of bringing them herself. When our paths crossed, her eyes lowered too fast, her steps too quick. She was running. From me. The realization irritated me more than it should have. I know I had made a decision to stay clear away from her but it was unbearable for me to act on it.
