Third Person POV The dark carriage rolled quickly along the quiet road outside the marketplace. Inside it, Daniel struggled helplessly. Her hands were tied tightly, and the rough cloth pressed against her mouth made it hard for her to breathe. The two men sitting beside her watched carefully to make sure she did not try anything foolish again. Daniel’s heart pounded loudly in her chest. Her mind was filled with fear. As she thought about Arthur… She wished he were here. She wished anyone from the palace would suddenly appear to save her. But the carriage only continued moving farther away. Across from her, Ravel sat calmly, his sharp eyes watching her like a hunter observing his prey. “You should stop struggling,” he said casually. Daniel glared at him through frightened eyes.
