Prince Arthur sat at the long table in the royal dining hall, surrounded by a few guards.
The meal prepared earlier had been carefully placed in front of him by Daniel, while the palace staff waited nervously at a distance.
Daniel had prepared and served the dish herself and everything looked normal. But she left immediately. She was not ready to face the prince as she is still sad by his engagement to Selena and Arthur knew it.
Then Arthur picked up his spoon.
He had eaten Daniel’s food many times before without fear. He trusted her cooking even though now, he noticed that Daniel is sad. He plans to explain things to her after his meal.
