BRIDGET'S POV
I sat down in front of my mirror, thinking about my life
I had found out that I was pregnant
After vomiting on a customer, my mom didn't take no for an answer so I went to the hospital that day
I was three weeks gone.
I rubbed my hand on my tummy and smiled.
I don't know what to do, maybe I'll abort it
Tears welled up in my eyes
I had to lie to my mom and gran gran that the doctor said I have fever
They didn't believe me at first
I sigh...
*It's better I abort it, the father does not want it anyways* I thought
I clenched my fist tightly as I remember the incidence that happened 2 days ago
I had met Mr Rude Jerk just outside the hospital
He had denied the pregnancy and even had the guts to call me a w***e!
He was even responsible for me being unable to get a job
I sigh
*I hope he lives a miserable life* I thought
*Ring* my phone rang
I picked it up and saw Gloria's name on the caller Id
I smiled before picking up the call
*"Hey babe" I greeted
"Where the f**k are you, you said you'll be at my house 2 hours ago!" She thundered
"Calm down ria, I'm on my way" I said rolling my eyes
"Don't you go rolling your eyes at me girl, you said that 2 hours ago but you still not here" she said dramatically
I giggle, we know everything about ourselves
I know she'll be rubbing her temple right now
Next she'll say I'm not going to be the death of her
"You will not be the death of me bri, I want you here in 10 minutes" she commanded
"Yes ma'am" I answered stifling a laugh
"Hisses, whatever"
"Bye" hungs up
I better get going or she'll have my head on a platter
After dressing up I picked my bag and put in the necessary things I need
I went downstairs
"Hey Gran gran" I greeted my grandma who was taking pictures of herself
Typical grandma!
" Hey baby, wanna take a pic with me?"
" Nope, I'm on my way to Gloria's, when mom gets back tell her I'll be home late" I replied not stopping as I head out
"Ok baby, my regards to Gloria" I heard her voice fade out
Taking a cab, I arrived at Gloria's and pressed the door bell
"Finally, someone decided to show up" Gloria said opening the door and left
"An hello would have been fine" I said
"Hello" she said sarcastically
I rolled my eyes and sat down
" Can I get water please" I asked pouting my lips
" You better get up and get it yourself,do I look like you slave" she said with a scoff
" Not fair, you're so mean" I said wipping fake tears on me eye
She rolled her eyes at me
I went into the kitchen to get water, gulping it down
I went back to the kitchen and sat down
"So, what do you want to tell me?" She said moving closer to me
"I don't know how to say it Gloria" I said looking down at my laps
"You can tell me" she assured me rubbing my softly
I sigh
" I..."
She urged me on
"I'm pregnant" I dropped the bomb
She looked like she had heard the biggest joke of the year
She burst out laughing
"Oh please, how would virgin Mary suddenly get pregnant!" She said after sobering up
I scoff
"I'm serious"
She looked at me to see if I was telling a lie
She gasp when she saw how serious I was
"How? When? Who is responsible?" She rushed
"I had a night stand last month at the club, A stranger is responsible, he's cute though" I answered her questions
"So, have you told him?"
"I just told you that he's a stranger plus I met him 2 days ago after finding out that I was pregnant, I told him about it but he called me a w***e and denied being responsible"
"That's really bad, what are you going to do about it?"
" I don't know, that's why I came here" I sigh
"Well, have you told your mom and grandma?"
" No, I don't even want to think about how disappointed she'll be in me" I said with shoulders slumped
" Why don't you abort it?" She said
" I was thinking the same thing but that's like taking a life!" I said feeling hopeless
" Since your baby daddy denied and you can't tell your mom and grandma, I think that's the best option for now" she advised
"I..."
The ringing of my phone Interrupted me
Swiping the call icon
"Hey Mom"
"Where the hell are you, I've been calling your number, didn't your grandma tell you that I needed you here?" She shouted
I winced as I felt my ear go numb from her screaming
" I'm at Gloria's, Gran gran didn't tell me anything and I didn't know you called"
" I need you here, there are a lot of customers"
"Ok mom, I'll be there in 10 mins" I said as she hung up
"I have to go Ria" I said as I got up picking up my bag and heading towards the door
I heard her walking behind me
Standing at the front door she waved at me
"Don't forget to abort the baby as soon as possible" she said
" Ok bye"
Getting to the Ripley's restaurant after ten minutes, I met a lot of customers, no wonder mom was angry.
Her and the two workers she had cannot handle all of THIS!
I got to work immediately
Seven hours later
I was so exhausted, I sat down munching on my food.
Mom had left an hour ago leaving me to close the restaurant.
After I finished with my food,I wasn't satisfied
I decided to lock up since it's late so I can go home to eat.
Checking the time "8:10pm*
I locked up and began to go home, putting my headphones on I listened to some of juice world's song cause that's what I need right now
I stood by the side of the road looking for a cab when I saw a body at the other side of the road
I shivered in fear, I wanted to run away but my feet dragged me to where the body was
I checked it's breathing and saw that the person was breathing faintly
Using my had to move the hair from the person's face I saw that it was Mr Rude Freak
I gasp 'what happened to him' I thought
I smirk *it seems like my prayer worked anyways* I thought as I walked away.
