Chapter 22After Ravyn vanished into thin air, Justin collapsed and Pam staggered away. A dull yellow glow came from the lights above the examination table, only enough to illuminate the night hag that looked like Ravyn, except that the night hag was gross. Flies buzzed around the room. Pam backed away from Justin's fallen body. She knew what had happened and a triumphant surge went through her.
“Ha! She woke up!” At least that's the only thing that made sense. Ravyn had woken up. Pam wasn't sure how that connected to Justin's collapse, but Ravyn must have done something. “Now she's going to wake me up too!”
Nothing happened.
Pam backed away from Justin's body and the night hag kept staring at her. Slowly her lips spread in a thin smirk. Slowly the night hag shook her head as if to mock
