Chapter four - lonely Again

Elena's life came back to normal , like the lonely and sad life she always had before she met Jennifer. She missed Jenny so much that she wish to hear about the talks about her live videos though it wasn't to her interest but she wished that Jenny was there to make her feel buoyant once again.
Elena was so sad that she became more gloomy as the day goes by . During weekdays and weekends she locks herself in the room and and studies through out the day. Her parents where so worried that Elena could still be facing the truama concerning her grandpa death.
Her grandpa Mr Simone Thompson was a professor, he was so close to Elena that he cherished her so much.When Elena grew up her grandpa was her only friend, they did so much fun things together, he told her alot of stories, they went to the movies, they did what friends do.This was going on till last year October , it's was grandpa birthday the whole family was preparing a surprise party for him especially Elena, she made sure everything was perfect. She was so happy that she couldn't wait for him anymore so she decided to go to his office , on her way she met him waiting to cross the road. They both saw each other and smiled, When the traffic light turned red he crossed but before he was about to reach the other side with Elena was at ,a big truck came with a high speed and knocked Mr Simone down. Seeing this made Elena so devestated . He was rushed to the hospital but after few hours he died. It was such a shocking and sorrowful moment for the family members especially Elena. After so many month Elena has been so lonely and gloomy.
So Elena's parents assumed it was the truama and suggested that Elena would undergo therapy sessions .
"Honey, I think Elena hasn't recovered from the trauma"Mrs Thompson said
"Which trauma?"Mr Thompson asked
"From father's death, I thought she was getting better when she was friends with Jennifer but now Jenny has gone, Elena has been so gloomy and sad."Mrs Thompson said with a worried face
"Hey, you don't have to be so worried okay"he said hugging Elena's mom. "We are going to find solutions okay"he said giving her a pat on her head.
"Wait"she said as she pulled out of his arms."I think she needs to see a therapist "
"What, are you trying to say that our daughter has mental issues" Mr Thompson said
"She's acting worse than how she used to, I think the only solution now is for her to visit a therapist " Mrs Thompson said
"But......." Mr Thompson said but was interrupted by Elena
"Mom ,Dad what are you talking about.??"Elena asked interrupting the conversation"What therapist, What are you guys saying" Elena said confused.Her parents turned which shock
"Darling please take it easy we will talk about this later , okay"Mr Thompson said
"Yeah we should talk about it later " Mrs Thompson said cleaning her eyes
"Mom what's going on "Elena said
"it's nothing darling, didn't you hear your dad we are going to talk about it later okay?" Mrs Thompson answered.She left angrily and locked herself in her room and started sobbing.
The next week Elena resumed school.She drove her to school.
"Bye"Elena said as she opened the door
"Wait honey, what's going on you didn't get to tell me good bye properly"Mrs Thompson said hold Elena hand preventing her from going
"Oh my goodness, can you just let me go"Elena responded with an angry tone
"What's up with that voice, you've never been this harsh. You can tell me anything, you know right?"Mrs Thompson said patting Elena on the head
"Yeah right I can tell you anything or wait, a therapist would be better to talk to right!"Elena said in a rude manner
"Hey , you don't talk to your mom in that rude manner, everything am trying to do here is for your own good. You've refused communicate with me ,you don't tell me anything again, how do you want me to react to this situation huh!!. Look I know the kind of relationship you had with your grandpa but he's gone and you got to accept it "Mrs Thompson said
"So because he's gone, I should just let him go. Is it that easy for you to say "Elena replied
"With all this attitude , I don't think am gonna change my mind about you visiting a therapist"Mrs Thompson said
"Suit yourself" Elena said as she opened the door and banged it behind her
"Elena Elenaaaa"Mrs Thompson yelled through the window but Elena didn't turn to answer.
