Logan was getting extremely concerned when his mate still had not returned from Arcadia. He knew that it had been a bad idea to send him there with Casimir and Ryder. However, his mate had insisted that Lotan would never show in the human realm to fight them. He would have to be egged into doing something. If seeing hundreds of his army being freed didn’t do it, he had no idea what the hell would. However, there was still no signs of Jensen or Lotan.
Logan heard someone calling his name and turned just as a woman twice the size as the other furies was bringing down her sword. Logan kicked his hind legs, but not before she sliced him in his hind quarters. Pain and magic spilled out onto the field, causing Logan to become dizzy and fall to his side.
