“We are set to leave Beta Jamie.” A wolf suddenly announced from the side and Jamie nodded at him.
“I'm beyond glad I met you here Valerie.” Jamie spoke and I gave him a shaky smile, knowing he'd be leaving and I have no idea how it'll be before I see him again.
I looked towards the child sitting peacefully in his arms. He had his head relaxing on his father's shoulder, his eyes observing the stranger amongst his parents.
I couldn't move forward to touch him. Afraid I may somehow hurt or harm him.
I turned to find all the large crowd all walking a long line of vehicles.
I could feel his eyes on me but it was hard to turn to face him.
I swallowed. “Good bye Jamie.” I whispered, my voice breaking. He nodded once, shaking, folding his lips into his mouth.
