Chapter Twenty-Four
Alpha Draco rushed forward to his mate. No one could speak, we were all still recovering from the shock. I could not believe I just rudely snatched my hand away like that. I could have hurt her. I shrunk into myself, crawling backwards until I stood on shaky feet. I wanted to speak, apologize but my lips wouldn't move. Luna Nymeria’s stunned eyes looked upwards to my new standing position and then she breathed coming out of her surprise. “It's okay, it's okay. It's alright.” She repeated softly like she was speaking to herself and me. A large weight pressed against my back and I flinched slightly and like a spell my nose loosened and I could finally breathe again.
