Sold to the devil

Rosey I hadn't moved from the little spot in between my drawer and bed. The screams from Marinda convinced me we were all dying today. I wasn't allowed in the sitting room until the guests were gone. For the first time in my life, I actually thank Marinda because her cruelty might have just saved my life. I hear footsteps nearing towards my bedroom, I start trembling like a leaf. What has my father gotten us into? Please, I don't want to die young. I still have a lot to live for. This can not be the end of my life. I haven't even started living yet. As I'm saying a short prayer, my stepmother burges into my room with a man I have never seen before. I'm startled and let out a low whimper. I look at Marinda, and she's a mess. She looks like a person who's just got informed they're dying in a few hours." Hey, get up, let's go downstairs," says the trembling Marinda. OK, I'm not sure what happened downstairs, but it can not be good. I have never seen Marinda so scared. I slowly got up, trying to compose myself with the sobs unwillingly escaping my mouth. I try to shut my lips to suppress the sobs, but it's not doing me any justice, I'm scared to death. "Eyy girl, make it hasty, I don't have all day," says the strange, scary man. We leave my bedroom and go downstairs. I stop in my tracks when I see a very scary looking man with tattoos everywhere except his face standing with his arms folded, eyeing me like I'm a criminal. I stand on the staircase like a statue. There's no way I'm going near that scary-looking man. Marinda quickly pushes me to walk, but I refuse to take a step forward. The scary man escorting Mirinda and I takes my hand and starts forcing me to walk. I almost stumbled, but I immediately managed to find my balance. I am so scared I can't differentiate my left from my right leg, I can feel my changed locomotion as I walk. I can tell I walk like a duck right now. The tattooed, cold looking man doesn't move his eyes from me. I start flushing in embarrassment. My mind is confused, I'm s**t scared and very flustered, I literally feel out of breath and somewhat embarrassed. I am made to stand in front of this 6'9 "lean-muscle-bodied man with a chiseled face. Standing in front of him, I now realize how tall and handsome he actually is. "Breath" is the first word he set out of his mouth that has me immediately exhaling out the breath I was holding. I didn't even realize I was not breathing. Now I'm even more embarrassed. I turn my face and look towards the table. The gruesome, grisly, and horrifying scene before me makes me feel dizzy immediately. I look at my father, who's covered in blood and looks pink, trying to suppress the pain he's feeling. I see fingers in front of Britney, who's covered in puke. It quickly registers those fingers belong to my father. " Nice to finally meet you, Rosey," says Greg in a firm voice. I stand there looking back and forth between the scene and this scary man in front of me. He reaches out his hand to touch me, and I immediately freak out. Ruben She looks very scared and walking very slowly. I can tell she's just trying to buy time. When she lifts her face to look in our direction, she immediately comes to a halt. Something about her appearance and aura stirs something deep inside me. I quickly compose myself and keep my usual scary demeanor. I can see she's hesitant to take another step, Stan makes her walk to me. She stands in front of me and looks like she's about to faint. If I had some speacial powers, I'd probably hear the sound of her heartbeat right now due to how rapidly loud she is breathing. Upclose I actually see a glimpse of flush and embarrassment. I am not sure if I am the effect or if she's just confused. When she turns her face, her facial expression immediately changes. The horror on her face was evident to miss. She looked back and forth between me and her father. I tried to reach out and jumped so fast eyes out of sockets that I thought she was going to faint right then and there. I look at Ruben, who's looking like s**t. He hasn't said much after I cut off his fingers." Ok, it's settled, I will take Rosey. Make sure she is ready for the wedding tomorrow morning. " Wait, wait, please, w.. what are y... you talking about? " Asks Rosey in a shakey voice. "Sweetheart, you will be my wife by midday tomorrow," says Greg with a grin on his face. Rosey My heart almost jumps out of my mouth. I don't understand. This man is bethrowed to Brit. What the hell is he talking about. I run to my father and Kneel down " Father please I hardly ask you for anything, Please do not sell me to this ruthless man" I'm trembling, crying it makes my voice husky and inaudable. The look this man I call my father is giving me could kill right now. It actually seems like his hate towards me multiplied ten times more. What have I done? Why is my father looking at me with so much hate. " Move the f**k away from me " He snarls in a low but audable voice. His words feel like a steel knife battered straight into my heart, " Yes Mr Montana, I will make sure she is ready for you" Says Ruben. I struggle to breath and I can literally see my life flash before my eyes. "Good! you are getting the hang of things I see, ohh I have the papers here to certify our marriage, tomorrow will only be formarlities. " retorted the scary man with a smirk on his face. I watch in horror as one of the bodyguards give him the papers, he quickly signs and walks to my father to sign off his rights. My father takes the pen with his trembling hand and signs the paper. The scary man starts walking towards me. " Your turn now wifey" he says with a blood chilling look. I gasp still in shock I can't raise my hand to take the pen I'm trembling so badly. He gives me a very stern look " I'm not going to f*****g repeat myself " He says now slightly shouting through his gritted teeth. That makes me jump a little and I immediately take the pen and look at the paper. I'm sobbing loudly, it's a mission trying to keep my hand steady. The way I'm so scared the pen feels very heavy, I look at the paper and look at the man and back again at the paper. I think that got him impatient he took my hand roughly and gestured it to where I'm supposed to sign. My sobs are now very loud as I sign on the section sealing my fate and selling my shuttered soul to the devil.
