Volume 1: Flight . Chapter 4: Headmistress

Everyone turns their heads to look at the open area of the crowd with faces of confusion and astonishment.

Headmistress Emilia walked into the center circle of the students her face stern and unmoved.

" All OF YOU TO THE HALL, THIS INSTANT."

The students look at one another unsure of what they should do until she announced once more " NOW." And the crowd was quick to disperse.

Emilia turns her face back to the six students "Oh my? Conner!! my dearest nephew Auntie has missed you so much give your loving aunt a hug" the Headmistress almost squeals in happiness as she pulls her nephew into a gripping hug.

" I'm happy to see you too auntie" Conners mumbles under his breath his face and voice straining from annoyance.

Chad and Benjamin looked confused not knowing what to do they only stilled in silence as are Icarus and Freya while Simon merely quirks an eyebrow in interest. "Oh, dear…" Emilia whispers as she catches sight of Icarus kneeling next to Freya on the floor the boys face looking almost to familiar like remnants of the past..

[ Obsidian black hair, Golden eyes like the sun, and features similar to that of a hawk]

" Boy? Might I ask your name is?" her eyes filled with curiosity as she steps forward finally releasing her nephew from her tight grip.

" Icarus Ouranos ma'am" Icarus's nerves tense as he warily responds to the Headmistress.

" Ouranos…" her expression became surprised which cause the group to become utterly lost one more.

Conner huffs as he crosses his arms turning swiftly away " I've had enough this is stupid, I'm out" he announces stomping away in an aggravated march into the crowd of swarming students.

The headmistress's expression shifting her features expressing a seriousness..

" Conner is right all of you move along so you can all be Evaluated by the crystal we can't wait all day now can we, chop chop" she announces as she straightens out her posture clapping her hands rushing the group off.

" Whatever we're done here, no need for us to trifle with these matters no longer" Chad abruptly announced, his snivellus attitude shining through his cunning array.

Chad turned his head to look at the frail petite brunette girl whose movements were those of a statue. Her eyes filled with slight relief when hearing that the malicious duo would be leaving, yet her eyes still held worry.

" This will not be the last" Chad spoke once more a glare sho to as he set his hand over his chest bowing to the Headmistress with an "elegant" smile before leaving the scene behind him with, Benjamin soon to follow like a stray dog.

" oh, such a charmer that was definitely something I wanted to see on my first day" Simon rolls his eyes sarcastically.

" Freya hey are you all, right?"

" Yeah, s-sorry I didn't expect this to happen is all I'm just a little stunned" Freya whispers a little to herself and Icarus as he helps her from the ground she had sat on for so long.

" I hate them so much, that just ruined my whole mood" Icarus sighs scowling a little the more he thinks of those bastards Chad, and Benjamin.

" Mr. Ouranos, I wish to speak with you in my office during break hour." Headmistress Emilia demands before she also walks away into the hall filled with students.

" What was that about?" Simon asks now standing next to Icarus in confusion.

"I have no idea…" Icarus responds staring off to were Headmistress Emilia had exited through suddenly Icarus feels he started to breathe again like he had been holding his breath that entire time the string of sweat from his forehead finally being wiped away as he returns back to his normal state.
