Dargan’s POV
Something was wrong!
I knew that as soon as I got to the first floor. I’d sat back for a while, watching the little minx take her frustration out in the kitchen before disappearing downstairs to what I could only imagine was her private bedroom. Then I decided that I needed to find my own room, take a shower and then find something to eat.
And that’s when I knew.
There was a scent in the air that felt all too familiar to me. The scent of tears, pain, and blood. My wolf pushed forward and I tracked the scent down. As I got closer, I heard it too.
The whimpers.
Begging to make it stop!
The sobs…
My wolf was going crazy inside my mind and I felt him push me hard. My own heart was racing and a part of me felt like it was on fire. I needed to find her!
