Their scents hit me first and my wolf jumped up, wagging his tail uncontrollably. Hell, I had a hard time controlling myself as I jumped out of my seat and practically charged at the door, ripping it open even before they knocked.
“Ashley! Gaia!” I beamed, so happy to see them that I wanted to take them into my arms and kiss them senseless. But at the last second, I regained my control and held back. They both looked surprised at seeing my reaction, but otherwise, I couldn’t read anything in their expression.
