Jade was sitting in one of the many cafe's that surrounded the hotel; a huge jacket covering her body and her face, as a form of disguise. She put the hot chocolate she was drinking to her lips and took a sip. She was looking around the cafe when she spotted a magazine rack. On the rack there was a magazine, with a picture of her on front page. She took this as her cue to escape again. She didn't want to risk Aiden or anyone else in his family finding this particular magazine because they would certainly come looking for her. She quickly rushed into her suite, dumped her clothing and items into one bag; and disappeared once more.
She then ran as fast as she could to the nearest bus stop and took a bus to the train station. She had a map of the area which she used for navigation. She got onto the bus and it drove off towards its destination. She drew her jacket over her head even higher and adjusted the mask she was wearing over her mouth and nose to further enhance her disguise. When she was finally at the station, she took a train up north, away from the city. she couldn't leave the country because if she did, all Aiden would have to do is make a phone call and she would be found.
By the time she had arrived at her destination she was exhausted, the fact she was heavily pregnant, did not make it any easier. She asked around for the nearest hotels; which she was directed to. As soon as she was checked in and inside her room, she collapsed against the door and let out a breathe she had no idea she was even holding. She then crawled to the bed with all the strength she could sustain and dozed off, just as her head hit the pillow. She hadn't felt so grateful for a bed in a very long time.

"Would you please arrange these files in alphabetical order and also send this to the finance department" Aiden requested his P.A, as he handed a folder to her.
"Right away sir" she replied and went out of his office. He was in the middle of paperwork when his phone rang. He groaned before picking up the call.
"Hello" he said into the phone.
"Hello is this Mr Aiden Ross?" The person asked.
"Yes it is" Aiden confirmed.
"Are you the guardian of Alexis Hall? the person asked.
"Ye-yes" he hesitated. He wasn't exactly her guardian, but seeing as he was being contacted, it seemed urgent.
"This is Dr Kim, we have your girlfriend here at the hospital and we require your presence at the moment" This Dr Kim said.
"What hospital?" Aiden asked worriedly as he immediately stood up. The doctor informed him of the exact location. "Okay I'll be right there" Aiden was instantly out of his office.

"Hi, I'm Aiden Ross, can you please show me to Alexis Hall's room" he told the nurse at the reception.
"Are you here guardian?" she asked.
"Yes" he said.
"I believe the doctor wants to talk to you before you can go in and see you" the nurse informed him.
"Okay" Aiden responded. The nurse directed him the doctor's office.
"Hello Doctor, Mr Ross is here to see you about the patient in ward 37" she announced.
"Than you Anna, you can leave now" he doctor thanked the nurse. "Mr Ross have a seat" he pointed to the chair opposite her. He then did some typing on his computer and turned to Aiden. "You're here for Miss Alexis Hall, am I right?" he asked.
"Yes I am" he replied.
"Well I have unfortunate news to tell you Mr Ross; and it concerns Miss Hall's pregnancy" the doctor began and Aiden started to worry again.
"What about it?" he sat up eagerly waiting for what he had to say.
"Unfortunately Mr Ross, she had an accident and suffered a miscarriage and didn't arrive to the hospital until it was too late" the doctor continued.
"So what, you couldn't save the baby?" he questioned, fear laced in his voice. As much as he didn't like or want to be with Alexis, that baby was his blood and he once loved that woman; so naturally, he cared what happened to her and the baby.
"We tried everything we could" the doctor told him. "My condolences" he expressed to Aiden; before leaving him with a light tap to his shoulder to attend to other patients.
Aiden sat there, with his head looking down. He felt guilty, guilty because he hadn't paid enough attention to Alexis' pregnancy and hadn't loved the baby enough. That baby had done no wrong; it never asked to be conceived, yet was pathetic at being the father of that baby. If he couldn't protect his baby with Alexis, how was he going to protect his baby with Jade, he wondered. After sitting there for awhile, he went to see Alexis. He imagined she was feeling more awful than he was at the moment.
"Hey" Aiden whispered sadly as he entered Alexis' room and closed the door behind him. He held her hands in his.
"Hey" she responded as he sat down on a seat and pulled it closer to her.
"The doctor told me about what happened" he mentioned in a low tone. "I'm sorry I behaved so immaturely" he apologised.
"I need to tell you something Aiden" Alexis looked at him.
"Tell me" he replied curiously.
"Please don't get mad" she stated nervously.
"I won't get mad if there's no reason to" he responded.
"The baby..." she began.
Yes?" he urged her to speak.
"I'm sorry Aiden, but it wasn't yours to begin with" she revealed in a whisper.
"WHAT!" he shouted, retracting his arms from her hold. He tried to consider her current situations and calmed down.
"You basically tried to trap me!" He mentioned as he stood out of his seat.
"My baby's real father disowned the baby, the moment he heard I was pregnant. I wanted a father for my child and you were the only person I could turn to" she confessed.
"You are unbelievable Alexis!" He was beyond disgusted at her behaviour. "Honestly, what did I see in a monster like you!"
"I'm sorry" she cried.
"Do you know what you've done to my marriage, do you understand the extent of what you've done to me?" he asked. She was silent. "My wife is wondering out there with our baby, all alone with no one to protect her; because of your lies" he pointed out.
"Please forgive my mistakes Aiden" she held onto his wrist. "I'm truly regretful" she told him.
"Make sure I never lay my eyes on you again!" he snatches his arm away and barges out of her hospital ward. He was from then on, only going to focus on finding Jade; he would walk to the end of the earth, if it meant he could find her.
