Unaware of the eventful evening, Sarah had slept well. Sarah’s brows furrowed as the sunlight crept into her room through the window. She knew she needed to get out of her bed, but her body refused. She was still feeling exhausted despite how much she had slept.
Sarah rubbed her eyes as she tried to get out of the bed. She looked around as she took in her surroundings. “Oho! We are at grandpa’s place,” Sarah murmured while ruffling through her hair.
Then she tried to recall yesterday’s events but all she could feel was a headache. Her memory was in a haze. Suddenly, her eyes widened like saucers when she remembered Chris had come to her home.
