Sarah doesn’t even remember how long it had been while sitting on the pavement. Listening to her mother’s ramblings, initially, Sarah’s mind struggled to form thoughts and sentences. She couldn’t concentrate on anything else. When she walked out of the house, she had no feelings whatsoever.
Even though she was accustomed to all of this, it never ceased to hurt and bother her. This time she couldn’t hold her tears back. It was filled with disappointment and anger. She had harbored resentment in her heart but soon realized that there was no point in allowing her to extend her misery because no matter what she did her mom will never like her.
