Sarah woke up with a jolt. Even after a deep slumber, she felt lethargic and weary. She looked outside the window, she thought to herself, “it’s already dark. . . I must have slept for so long. Where am I?” She recalled that she was sitting on the pavement. How hard she tried; she couldn’t recollect anything. As she tried to reach for the cup of water, she remembered placing it on the night table but she couldn’t find the night table. The lights suddenly went on. It took a minute for her eyes to get adjusted to the light entering her eyes. Puzzled, she looked around only to comprehend she was not at her place.
