On the seventh day, following the death, a gathering was held in Alex's ancestral home. A lot of people came from different walks of life. Alex had maintained a good relationship with everyone so all his friends and relatives had come to pay their respect to the family.
Sarah took no notice of the people who paid their condolences. Some approached Hannah trying to comfort her but she would just shake her head or simply nod. After the service, Sarah wanted to rest and lie down. Tiredly, she sat on the couch when she heard Hannah’s loud voice along with her sister’s annoying voice too.
