13. Intrigued

Andy pov

My life changed a lot ever since Mandy met Jamie. She used to call or tease me all the time but now our meeting has reduced a lot. She spent more time with Jamie rather with me or Annie. I really missed her as much as Annie missed her.

This morning, I woke up earlier, I was hoping that I could see her jogging around the campus as she used to do. Unfortunately, I did not met her, so I decided to go to her dormitory and find my sister. Annie then told me that Mandy did not go back to the dorm last night. 

I asked her whether she was OK with this new situation then she shared her feeling.

"I miss her bro. She used to stand by me all day but it just washed away."

"I miss her too, but she is in love right now. She needs her moment with Jamie."

"I understand." We both know the consequences of her relation with Jamie. "How is your feeling? Did it hurt you to know that Jamie is there with her almost all of her time. I know that you love her right?"

"I do not understand my feeling anymore Anne. The first time I realized my feeling for her, I knew that this feeling is insecure, breakable and yet borderless. Jamie has always been her center of life for these past years even when he is not around. But, losing her by the time he proposed her, it hurts and pleases me."

"Ya, I kinda understand your feeling."

"Enough about me. You should care about yourself too, so is there anyone that approaching you?"

"How come someone approach me if you my loving and charming brother always be there. They were intimidated by you." I chuckled with her way to mention that I was too protective. 

"Should I leave you alone then?"

"Naaah. If he found me attractive then he should fight for me and ask your blessing bear to lose your intimidation."

We then agreed to have breakfast together. When we ate, Annie asked some symptoms to know someone happy especially when they are in love. I knew instantly that it referred to Mandy and Jamie.

I miss Mandy that much yet I do not want to make her or Annie feel sorry for me, sometimes love can hurt and heal us. But for now, I can be sure that I am hurt by their closeness.

"Why are you asking this questions? Do you feel something about Mandy?"

"I just think that she is a bit pale and I can see that she has the symptoms of lack of blood."

"Actually I also think the same as she lose her weight and she tends to lose her blush ever since. At first, I thought it was because of the finals, but the lose was drastic I think."

"Ya you are right. People that lose their blood usually are those who are terrible sick, in a transfusion or pregnant. She is none of them. She told me that she is not planning to make love yet."

The word pregnant boiled my heart. I should be able to stand the position that someday she will share her special part for someone else. I want to be Jamie's rival if he ever hurts my Mandy. Why am I so possessive?

"Have you checked your analysis yet? I mean you are soon to be a doctor so I think you have one evidence that state your hypothesis right?"

"I did actually, I check her below eye is too white, it means she is losing her blood."

"You should ask her to check or at least tell her your thought."

"I just thought that she might misunderstand my good will."

"Let us take her to lunch, just the three of us."  I will stand for her if Jamie does something that he will regret it.
