We had just pulled up to the pack house. I could feel Maddison's anxiety the whole drive and her trying to contain it and be brave. It must be pretty scary walking into the den of hundreds of our kind. One of my warriors, Harrison, had come to meet us. He was really excited. I could also hear the pack chatter in my link with them, they were all happy and proud their Luna was making an appearance. I had wanted to keep it a secret so as not to frighten Maddison, but mother wanted everything in ship shape and spotless with all on their best behaviour.
