It had been several days since the whole Jaxon and Dominique fiasco and Eric had been staying with me for my own protection. Warriors had also been placed strategically in the local vicinity as we were still unsure of what move Jaxon would make next. I had barely eaten a thing, poor Eric tried his best to console me. He was coming round to the idea that Jaxon was somehow innocent in all of it.
"I've known him since we were pups, Luna, I just can't believe he would do this to you. I know how he holds mates in such high regard and I know it looks dodgy as hell. It shocked me too seeing them that day, but surely you must feel truth in your heart, you're his true mate" Eric pleaded.
