An hour had gone by since Maddison had left, I had screwed up again. Maybe my mother was right. Maybe I should just lay all my cards on the table and let Maddison know who and what I really am. I wanted her to not miss out on any of the human dating stuff too. Once my kind mark and mate it can get pretty intense between couples for a while. We don't have weddings or get married, the gift from the Moon Goddess is what binds us together not a piece of paper. I sat there at my desk, head in my hands wondering if my girl was okay when my wolf perked up bouncing about in my head like a puppy gone wild. I couldn't deal with him right now, my mind was on one thing and one thing only and that was making Maddison feel better. The door to my office opened and someone walked in.
